damn its ashame that irene fucked me before i could harvest my headbands.. mould resistance on a strain like that is fucking prime. do you guys have a special cut of headband(707) or is it reserva privida seed bank? i grew reserva privida had a great strong OG branch structure to it which was great because it made for easy staking. its a great all around strain i just wish irene didnt harvest her before i could lol

The Headband I grow is clone only. Bummer to hear Irene messed up your crop. Always next year and earlier finishers.

irene fucked a lot of crops in the northeast(not just mj).. but thats guerilla growing for ya and there will always be lessons learned. i still have three more beans so there will be more headband in my garden.. the only thing i have to complain about it is that its a bit picky at first with a hot mix.(opposed to my other strains) but now that i know what i prefers i can ween her into the hot mix which will make her explode.. a vigorous strain and i cant emphasis enough about the branching. she would definitley finish first week in october so with mould resistance she should be a good candidate for a 40N east coast grow. im putting her in a smart pot next season though.. the only reason irene fucked me was because of the rain and i had em in the ground.. no oxygen to those poor roots. im suprised your not that big of a trainwreck fan..

anyway the OG looks fantastic, and so does your place.. wood burning stove fuck yes. when do you expect the sssdh to finish?

Nice OG, is that the fire cut? How did that early OG turn out for you? Happy Harvest GCG

It is rumored to be the fire cut,but I'm not sure. My friend has had the mom for 8 years and it came from LA. It's some seriously tasty OG.

The early OG from seed came out great. Only grew a few and planted them in mid july to test the out. Next year I'll be crossing a male of it to my OG cut and other things. A friend gave me a few hundred seeds of it.

The SSSDH has all been harvested, the last was cut yesterday. Those last pictures were from a while ago.

That looks similar to the fire OG cut I grow. Save me a taste. I can smell that cut a mile away.

We just have the Dreams left to take down... I think we'll start taking tops in a few more days. The earlies are starting to be trimmed. Yields are encouraging.

yea on paper it seems that way...but when you actually see the shit floating around california some days its obvious they are picking at 6-7 weeks..no flush...lazy trim... heatstress...powder mildew....spider mite damage......not alot of guys trying to grow quality to get an extra 500 a unit when they can just take shortcuts and take a lower price....or maybe they are trying to grow good weed but just suck so they let it off cheap....all i know is for every nice smokeable pound i see, theres another 5 mediocre midgrades floating around...

thats true all day here in sunny central cali too

Looks killa GD! PS I cut my SSSDH before rains hit here couple days ago. Not as pretty as your cut, or as big, but it looks great and what a stink. Great googlymoogly! I had to run out and buy a can filter and a fan to kill the odor of it before my lady freaked out. :D

We also still have all the Sour Chems, my Sour D and some Chem D in the greenhouses. They are going to get to go as long as they like.

Hey Ganga D, how's that open barn full of Blue dreams going? Looked spectacular a month or so ago.

It's been harvested. Was not the best place for BD,not my idea either.
Next year I'll plant a shorter squatter strain there and space them out better. Still did very well with the Blue Dream though, just could have been much more efficient. My arms are covered with a layer of Blue Dream resin.
Bushweed, saw some of your recent pics. Beautiful sativas you grew.

Very curious how the Sensi-Durban turned out? Happy Harvest!!!

Didn't get to grow them,a friend accidentally gace them away to a neighbor whos plants died.
I did keep and nice male though and made lot's of Durban hybrids including ECSD,OG,and a few others.

What a bummer! Cool that you got to make some hybrids though. Are you going to be giving them another whirl next year, under your control? :jump:

Things are going well except I've hurt my foot. Originally I thought it was a spider bite but the doctor thinks it's an injured tendon swelled up from over working myself. The harvest crew around here calls me Flash cause I only run and think walking is for pussies. Well, now I'm laid up anxiously waiting to heal. Other than the foot everything is awesome.

I've been too stressed about my foot to smoke a lot,but some of the herb here is the strongest I've ever smoked, and tastiest. I'm really enjoying the SD IBL and DSD. Smoking those two strains again is like a reunion with old friends.
Here's whats left of my personal headstash garden.

Only seeded branches remain.
Peace
