Mexican brick weed now INDICA

At the star of this video you see some plants that may be hybrids because the leaves are just to wide to be pure native sativa but at 28 seconds in and at the 2 minute mark the plants look like text book indicas, not super wide leaf Afghani hashplants but just plain old short stout fat yeilding indicas. Some of my family from Arizona have noticed a higher potency indica type of brick coming from Mexico.

for future reference to embed just copy the part of the url after the slash minus any ? and whatnot after it.

44ItqcHMWgM and add [.youtubeif] [/youtubeif.] around it. minus the periods i added so it would show the code.

i've been under the impression a lot of mexican weed was hybridized for a while, i only recently found my first true sativa from "mexican bagseeds " and it might actually be colombian.

Good maybe the cartel's harvest will get super moldy now they're not growing late-finishing sativas.

I've grown out a bunch of brick seeds its FUN and REWARDING hah

heres what I found and I'm sure the ones I could ID were f2's but there were also some that were a mix of these and other un IDable stuff

Sensi seeds:
Fruity Juice what can I say this tasted like the gum it just wasn't strong
Super Skunk this was beefy and stank but when cured it just wasen't to hot

Nirvana:
Swazi Roibard: this was fucking trash. except for the liqourice taste it barely got anyone high and the calyx's were spread far apart on the stems making a huge bud weigh nothing.

I just got a bunch more of these as people will throw them away still.

mexican growers have been using hybrids for some time now...I used to buy up all the commercial bud that was half decent and save all the seeds. My "plants in a bucket" grow was from mexican bagseed. The plants I've got now are MExican bagseed...and it's like 75% indica. Out of a few ounces I got about 120 seeds...30 or so were clearly indica...small and marbled...the other beans are clearly sativa or sat-dominant, as they're huge. I grew out the indica looking seeds and sure enough they turn into indica looking plants. This is my last time not using feminized seed but yeah, they have some decent weed growing down there. Could even be growing something like skunk#1, and it's just losing like 50% of its potecny and bag appeal because of shipping.
Here's a mexican schwag bagseed I grw outdoors (it turned purple! and was very stoney)

indica beans are small and mottled, sativa seeds are large and single colored with no mottling

Indica hybrids allow the cartels to make more money. There are several reasons why.

This is just business.

It's always about the money.

Yeah, thats all I used to get. I had 2 empty bags that were full of seeds, but the old lady threw out one of them she found while cleaning!

She was mad at me that day; the only time she ever cleans is when she is angry.

Oh well, still got that other bag.

they been working with hybrids for quite a while. i got seeds. very interesting results

umm... no they are not.

there is no hard and fast rule, but indica seeds (plants from places that freeze) tend to be larger.

Sativa seeds tend to be smaller. They also lean on genetics from the tropics, where it isn't as important to dig deep.

A small seed is made to germ after not going very deep, whereas a bigger seed is made to dig down further with the freezes and thaws.

yeah it seemed that way to me too i always get sativa's from the tiny seeds and the large seeds are mostly always indeeka.

idk i guess not anymore...
"there probably was a point in time where it may have represented a certain something with the plant but nowadays there is so much crossing going on that it doesnt really matter what the seed looks like as long as it is mature"
