going into 3rd week... need some advice

So i have 4 church plants and one ice all feminized seeds. Im using fox farm soil and i currently switched the plants onto a 400 watt hps and a t5. The bigger ones are looking good but two of the babies have some chemical burn on them already.... wondering what i can do to improve it? its not bad but i feel like it shouldnt be burning already... please give me some advice thank you!!

ocean forest? it's too hot for seedlings. you can try to flush but lots of water isn't good for baby roots.

I think the problem is connected to the method of germination. Use 1 foot deep containers not much large is a good method.
She like the deepground.

If possible re-pot the affected plants in a slightly bigger pot with a lighter soil mix.
By your description it sounds the soil is too strong for the affected plants.

im confused because this didnt start happening until i put them under the 400 hps. can it be heat stroke?

Heat stroke plus a very low humidity?
Sounds like a possibility.
If it only happened after the 400W was brought forget my earlier advice.

What´s the humidity?
If the smaller plants, further away from the light, are the ones affected it does not makes any sense to raise the light any more.
What are temps and humidity inside the grow room?

Yeah thats strange, put your hand over your plants. If the light is to hot for your hand it's too hot for the plants.

What are you feeding them? They might be hungry actually. I'm still a noob so please take my advice with a grain of salt but my first grow I did in FFOF and I didn't have any problems with burning. About four weeks in I thought my cuts were getting burnt or the PH was off or something but it turned out they were hungry. Here's a thread I started in the infirmary about it. I'd say it's the Ocean Forest, but really any guess is just conjecture. I also have some nearly 3 week old plants in some FFOF and I should have mixed in some more intert ingredients/mix before planting. This soil is super-full of nutrients and some young plants aren't going to be ready.

I thought with some indica dom genes I would be outta the bushes, but I think its just a little stress.

On that note, I wouldn't stress too much yet...they don't look too fucked and may just grow a bigger appetite. Good luck!

p.s. I am no pro---but those plants are almost definitely NOT hungry for any ferts if they are in some fresh FFOF. I think any feeding would greatly increase your problems.
