Purge or not?

Good day,I was just wondering if I had to purge my oil?Health reasons?Do you just let it air dry with out purging?This is what I been doing the last three times.Thanks and safe groing.

ISO quick wash,shake for about thirty seconds,strain threw one coffee filter with 99% RA,one time only.I noticed with the 99% that the end product was more runny,but very good quality.And also it don't bubble like before,with 70%,color is a little different also,wait that was a different plant.

I would like to know what is wrong with this post?New at this OIL thing so maybe this is wrong?This was a answer to Gray Wolf,not a guide to making oil.

99% rubbing alcohol,I get it from Safeway,only place I can find it.

I'm not sure I understand the question.

You can purge it by letting it set out long enough.

It will purge faster if you add enough heat to keep the oil liquid, like a hot water bath.

You can purge and decarboxylate it at the same time by setting it in a 250F hot oil pot.

I'm new to this Oil making.My concern is,1,is it ok to just air dry the oil with out any heat(purge)?2,Is the end product better if you use heat to purge?3,Is it ok health wise to just air dry then use heat?More concerned about my health then anything!Thanks!

I have been told air dry is fine for iso, however I assume if you had a really really large run the thickness might be a problem? Iono from experience, but I am almost certain you can let that stuff air dry.

Rubbing alcohol is NOT the same, it has lanolin oil added so your skin doesn't dry out. Please do not use rubbing alcohol to make oil.

I'll have to check into this.I should of looked into this before I smoked it.Thanks for the input.
