Nothing to do with HIPPA AT ALL. This is not a record of medical treatment. These are not records of drug use.

In Colorado it does. It is written into the Amendment 20. The most protected person in Colorado is the patient. That is the same reason why DOCS will snub their nose at DEA for them trying to get patient records. So yeah. It does have to do with HIPPA. They cant violate that. They are bound by the same laws.

If the Feds come in and get these records I promise no one will go to jail for giving them up, just going to have to deal with lots of civil suits because of Patient confidentiality laws. The reason why no one will go to jail is the same reason why none of the CIA members involved in the smuggling of cocain in the 80s to Highway Ricky Ross never went to jail, they all just got pardoned and you cannot find any information on the cases involving those members of the CIA. . . Same thing, who ever gives up records to the feds will be covered and protected by the feds. . . The whole situation is bogus and the guys who hold office in Michigan aren't acting in the peoples interest especially when it comes to issues of Medical Marijuana.

Folks need to spend more time worrying about their world as compared to one you simply cannot change. Wasted energy in talking politics on the net so why do it? The Patriot Act took care of all our rights and in accordance with it to even denounce it we are in violation and hence can be incarcerated until they deem fit so put that in your bong and smoke it because we could be considered terrorists.

I don't like that kind of world so I do every thing in my power to see the MY WORLD isn't like that.
