What to buy from Dick Smith? to make colloidal silver

im going to make some colloidal silver so i can have a crack at making some feminised beans, but im not too sure what I need to buy from Dick Smith, can anybody help? / anybody here made CS before?

Its a simple process - you just get alligator clips to hold two bits of silver in half a litre of distilled water, with 6V (~300mA) DC current going down it. Let it 'cook' for 7 hours, and voila you've got colloidal silver with a higher PPM than that you can buy at your local chemist, and for less $.
(I bought two 1oz .999% pure silver coins from the Mint, AU$26 each, and theyll last for ages because you only use microscopic amounts so its a good investment).

So does anyone know what id need to buy? im assuming all parts would be available from Dick Smith. Because it MUST be DC will i need a convertor?
Can i buy just any pair of small alligator clips or do they need a special end to plug into an adapter?

I've never tried it before Pheno,,,, but have you thought about a 6v dc transformer or a switchable transformer, what ever is cheaper and just buy the alig/clips & connectors to suit?

In keeping with my tradition of resurrecting old threads this is the one that sparked the feminised seed concept to me.

PhenoMenal got it going, like 5 years ago with home made colloidal silver machines..

Being the lazy person I am I got a commercial colloidal silver generator.

And guess what...it freaking works.

A female plant will reverse sex with this chemical. The pollen produced can be used to fuck a clone of itself.

The seeds produced are female and an identical copy of itself.

That's all they can be.

i used a quart mason jar a dc wall plugin from and old cell phone two aligator clips and ordered the puriest silve wire i could find on line ,i tryed it with tap water ,and damn that was ugly!!!! then with distilled water with much better results a tds pen will give proper ppm readings

Yep, must use distilled water. I never measured ppm or EC...just cooked it overnight...job done.

about alligator clips...

try and find silver plated ones...the cheap ones will put off alot of rust into the water.
not sure if it harms the solution, but makes an ugly brew. also. if you cannot find silver plated clips, be sure to immerse only the silver into the water...this is the cheap fix.

I purchased some silver wire for $25 inc postage from a seller here in OZ ..

I use a old glass jar with 2 holes in the plastic lid and place the wire in and have aligator clips attached and thats hooked up to a 9 volt battery .. all up cost me $30 and you can reuse the wire many many times . All the aligator clips etc are at dick smith or jaycar or any electronic store.

heres photo Of mine ... you just use distilled water and hook up 9volt battery and leave for 12 hrs then store what you make in a old beer bottle or a dark brown glass bottle and then spray it onto a female plant the first 2 or 3 weekes into flowering to get the male flowers. the silve wire will turn a black color so you have to sand paper it or wipe it clean after each time and ensure the wires are about an inch apart.

There's a bit more to it than than that. You need a clone female of the same plant. When pollen is produced on the sprayed plant it is used to fuck it;s daughter. End results...same genetics...feminised seed.

hey mate, i have been making colloidal silver for a long time now for medicinal purposes and i would reconmend not using coins. I buy my silver electrodes from http://www.silverwell.com.au/ i dont use their kits because bit over priced. The optimal voltage for producing good quallity cs is 27volt, so all i do is connect 3 9v batteries in series, and then connect to the aligator clips and put the electrodes in pure distiled water in glass jar, not plastic. hope i was helpfull
