Skunk of old.....

:tiphat:Hey all!!! Cool info about the breeders of the orig Skunks.....

Tried something last year,,,,, Have old school genetics from 86/87

SSSC M-40 Heavenly High a Texas Legend female

From the Oakland area 1991 Afghani that won that year Male

2005 OG Kush clone the same, that was on the cover of High Times, that B-Real was holding in the baggie

So, the M-40 was crossed with the Afghani male, the F-1 seed was stable, and only female/male seeds were produced, no hermies:dance013:

Then it still needed something, so a run of OG Kush got stressed and
produced S-1 nanners, just a few (3), so the pollen was used, to pollinate the above stable cross, so basically these are 2 females, bred together, since there was not much pollen, only 1 seed was produced :dance013: A beautiful Female that smells like SKUNK!!!
when the main stem is rubbed, when you stand next to the plant it reeks in veg, after 3 months old, and here's a sunny pic of Her::::wave:

I made Skunk #1 by myself, no help.
CULTIVATORS CHOICE was me alone.
So many lies and mis-truths have been posted about me and my work that I can't even keep track.
I understand that Useful Idiot's intention were good, but most of the post is just repeats of old lies, sorry....

Sam what's the differences between the sweet skunk and the stinky skunk. Are they both your creation? Is it true that you only plan to do further work with the sweeter one?

I have one of your mix seeds outdoors along with a plethora of other girls. She is by far the biggest, healthiest, heartiest plant of the bunch.

She still got some long time to go though...

Sam has said in other threads that he prefers the sweet profile over the skunky (rks), so he has bred skunk1 toward the sweeter profile that he likes.

I'd like to ask Sam if he still has Skunk#5, and if he has any plans to release anything else as Cultivators Choice? :ying:

Skunk is his.. simple as that, even Nev can agree to that!!.. I guess we have had a skunkification over things over the years.. that to me shows it was the best of its time.. kinda like we have a had a blueberrification of things aswell... I guess if something is good it gets hybridised or basdardized (however you prefer)

As a member here from early on, Raco's reaction is much like mine when I see these threads. So much info is provided on this site, to have a newbie start a thread w/o doing any "homework" usually makes them look like an asshat.

As someone who grew Skunk1 in the 80's, I can attest to it's greatness.
Just the idea that Chemdog is a repudiated Super Skunk that in turn created so many of our 'elite' cuts today, sez it all.:ying:
