I've been doing ALOT of research & reading of different strains i would like to have & have always come back to DG's crosses , sweetest cindy has been one that i wanted to try for awhile now but when it was available i was nervous ... paraniod about ordering seeds . but i said f-it & made an order .
as i said earlier i REALLY want the SC . so i ordered the select mix pack of SC, oger99 & dieselrella .
I can't wait to get these beans in my garden to see what they give me .

Thanx DG for breeding some really nice girls for us to grow . may have to put up a grow thread finally

Thanx unc .... i will get one done as soon as my beans come & i sprout them . unc ... your threads & a few others here are the reason i went with DG's genetics . they are just so hardy & very few problems . the lady dutch grown must be one helluva breeder as all her girls seem to be top notch . the cinderella 99 & sour diesel are 2 of my favorite strains so this mix pack was made just for me it seems never tried the banana kush ( not much of a kush fan) but hey i'll try anything once . the sweetest cindy is one i've been wanting for a lonnnggg time & the dieselerella is like a bonus for me ..... i can't wait !!!!

Mornin everybody

put the seeds into soak last night & got my RR's out & gave them a soak of tap & rhizo . got my tray & dome all cleaned up & ready to go . should be puttin the seeds in the RR's tonight maybe or tomorrow (whenever they crack ) . will get some pics once they pop the rooters .

Ok guys , a little info on my room & my nutes .

I have what the wife calls my man cave its a spare bedroom set up with my desk & PC , my veg box (wardrobe cabinet) & the flower box . the veg , seed & clone box is a 3' x 2' x6' wardrobe cabinet that has 2 shelves dividing the 3 sections . the upper section has my electrics & the panasonic whisper quiet exhaust fan that blows into a can 9000 on top of the cab. the second shelf is for my clones seedlings etc.... it has 4 1' t5 flourescents & a power strip that i can plug cfls into for extra lighting . the lower section has a 150watt HPS & another power strip for cfls if needed . i have pics of the cab i'll show later .

the flower box is a closet i built in the room , it is 3' deep 6' long & 9' high with the upper 3 foot seperated from the main part for my electrics timers & storage . the main flower room is 3' x 6' x6' . totally sealed off from the upper portion . I use 2 400watt HPS lights in cooltubes (by the time these DG girls go into flowering i will have upgraded to 600watters ) lumitek ballasts with plantmax bulbs . the 600's will be the same lumitek & plantmax combo's . I have a 6" centrifigul fan & off name brand carbon filter . controlled by a CAP vsc-dne temp controlled speed controller with day & night temp settings ( nice unit !!!) i use 2 - 6" x12" passive intakes with a filter over the intake to keep the nasty dust & critters out . my exhaust goes from the upper portion of the cabinet straight outside with a damper on the vent . (only opens when fan is running ) . the room is set up for a perpetual , 2 lights 2 scrog nets (if needed ) harvested once a month most times longer . I have a pic of 1 side of the flower box its a SSH that was just harvested (2 plants coco hempys produced 8 1/2 ozs ) i'll get better pics of the entire cabinet later to show you all .

I am in the process of building a mom box , i have a crate that i lined with 1/4" plywood its dimensions are 42" wide 27" high & 26" deep . i put 2 passive intakes 6"x6" ...1 on each side & i have a 4' duct booster fan blowing into a homemade scrubber on top . I haven't made the doors yet or bought lights but that will come soon enough .

heres a few pics to give ya an idea what i've got going .....

heres the man cave ... the particle board wall on the right is my flower box & the wardrobe is my clone veg box

this is a shot of the inside of my clone veg box ....

this is one side of my flower box .. its the SSH that just finished up ... i replaced them with 4 biesels in 2 gallon coco & perilite buckets with my blumats hooked up to feed them .

with the perpetual i basicly use the scrog nets but i do have an indica that i don't use the nets on ... i just top the shit out of them so i get 4 or more main branches to use & i lolipop them so they concentrate on the main branches only ... works pretty good for this plant anyways . i have room enough for 4 good size girls or 9 smaller indicas . so more than likely i'll be putting 4 of the DG plants in one side ... maybe 6 if they don't get too bushy . we'll have to see how big they get in veg before i make a final decision .

Thanx 3rd ... your mix pack grow was the deciding factor in me buying these beans . I've been lurking around different breeders forums for awhile now trying to decide what i want to buy & i always seem to come back to dutch growns stuff . the grows you guys have been having with these is freakin amazing ( yours included ).the sweetest cindy is what i decided on & of course it was out of stock when i decided to buy (& then put back instock after i bought the mix pack ... figures .. right ? ) & the dieselrella is like a bonus so ..... why not ?

Thanx Boom , i will try to keep it interesting , I usually run from clones but i have popped a few seeds in my day . but i gotta say , this being my first real purchase of seeds , i'm anxious as hell . don't wanna mess up these great genetics .

I found that 7 of the 10 had cracked they're shells so i put them in the RR's & into the dome .I use 50/50 RO & tap , i filled up a half gallon jug of my water mixed in a couple drops of rhizo & protekt ... ph'd it to 5.8 (same mix i soaked the RR's in since last night ) & sprayed the dome , set it on the heat mat & now we wait ......

i'll get pics when theres something to show .

Ok so heres a break down of my nutes . I was using the KISS method when i ran in promix or soils but switching to coco i knew there was some differences in cations that i had to be aware of . i put up a thread here asking for assistance in nutes for coco . a member here Snowcrash chimed in & helped me tremendously .

I'm using canna nutes ( the cns17 was clogging my blumats )
after all the reading from snow crash i decided to go with this line up .

canna A & B
canna rhizotonic
GH hydroplex
techniflora magical
liquid koolbloom
dynagrow protekt
& a epsom salts mix of 100mg per liter used at 3ml per gallon

My water is pretty hard & has alot of sodium so i mix 50/50 RO & tap which gives me a PPM .7 conversion of 110 ppm 7.1 ph .
when i mix my nutes i bring the PH down to 5.8 if i use it right away ... if it has to sit i bring it down to 5.3 or 5.4 cuz canna has a tendancy to raise the PH over time . so i check my PH in my blumat rez daily & anything hand fed i check it before feeding with it .
as far as runoff goes ... as i said my tap has alot of sodium so i give enough feed to get 30% or more runoff , my catch trays are full about 15 minutes after feeding so i drain them off & throw it away . no need to have that water sitting there . raises humidity & i don't want the plants feeding off it . (this method is for when i hand feed my indicas ) i don't have them hooked to the blumats cuz they're in 5 liter buckets & theres 9 of them so its easier to just hand feed . the 4 on the other light are hooked into my blumats & those trays have to be drained daily also to ensure i get runoff .

I keep my dosages low & build up if needed (haven't had to so far )
all dosages are for 1 gallon of water ...
for clones & seedlings i give

10 ml of rhizo
2 ml of calmag
3 ml of protekt

for veg i give

6ml of A & B
8ml of rhizo
2ml of calmag
3ml of protekt
ppm @ .7 conversion are 760 ppm

in flowering i give for the first 4 weeks
4ml of A & B
2 ml of rhizo
2ml of calmag
3ml of protekt
2 ml of LKB
2 ml of hydroplex
& 3ml of epsom mix
ppm @ .7 conversion are 840 ppm

last 2 weeks before the flush i give

3ml of A & B
2 ml of calmag
3 ml of protekt
3ml of epsom mix
2 ml of hydroplex
6 to 8 ml of LKB for the boost
ppm @ .7 are 980 ppm

then they get a 10 day to 14 day plain ph'd water feeding .

Snow crashes idea of feeding the P & K are using different sources @ lower levels because of the added things that different PK boosters add to the mix like these below . & as long as you don't over do it with the dosages it will work to the plants benefit rather than just using 1 PK booster .

the low dose of calmag that i give is not so much for the calcium & magnesium as it is for the iron & little boost of mag that canna line doesn't have . magical has 1.5 % mag where canna has 1.0 %
the hydroplex basicly replaces the cannazyme , not for the enzymes but the P & K & also the vitamins & amino acids . i'm not reusing the coco so enzymes are not needed.

the liquid koolbloom basicly replaces the PK13/14 & also adds a little extra mag .

during the ripening stage (weeks 4 &5 ) is when i lower my A & B useage & add more LKB for the pk boost . it has worked for me so far , i'm still fine tuning this recipe but it has given me fantastic results so far . no its not a KISS recipe but i don't mind if it works .

well guys ... if i think of anything else .. i'll chime in & of course if anyone has questions ... just ask & i'll reply the best i can .

no signs of seeds popping up yet but the meter says its 82 degrees & 87% humidity under the dome so it looks good .
actually temps are a little high so i'll put a buffer between the heat mat & tray to get the temps down to 75 degrees or so .

8 outa 10 standin about an inch above the RR's so i took them out of the dome & snugged them up against the T5's . looks like we're off to the races
couldn't snag the camera from her clutches yet , maybe tomorrow but when i do i'll get some lil' sprout pics for ya to gaze at

little side note for you guys poppin seeds . when i use the rapid rooters it seems like the hole in the top is always to big so i stuff a little piece of the RR in the hole on top of the seed , sence doing that ,every time the sprout come out of its hole .... theres no seed casing on the sprout . its like that piece i stuck in there helps rid the sprout of its seed cap .... maybe ... maybe not .... something to try though huh ?

Sometimes with the rr's I'll turn em upside down and split the bottom a little with my thumbs and put the seed in there. Seems to hold em snug and the rr has better balance.

Thanx 3rd , i have the RR tray that came with my hot house . i just cut it down to hold like 3 rows of RR's . that holds things in place for me pretty good .
