In the eighties we got lots of good outdoor and good indoor was pretty inexpensive. 1/4 oz went for $25 for good seeded outdoor. Seedless indoor was about $50 1/4 oz.
I was getting this great indoor on occasion that we called "Kirsch weed". AKA Curse Weed, AKA Enterprise. The reason for this was because grower only sold it in oz quantities, and in each vacuum sealed oz was a piece of paper the size of a post it with a picture of the Starship Enterprise, but the engines were burning joints and the caption underneath said "Captain Kirsch".
I could never get close to the grower, since he was verrrrry cautious. But a chick I knew dated him and she loved the dummy dust, which I was selling at a high rate. So I traded coke for weed to her at 1 gram per half oz.
I still have one of those little kirsch pictures as a keep sake. I'll have to dig it up and take a pic to share.
Around that time was the last time I saw good imported hash. I got a half oz for $90. It was pressed, very golden and the partial block I got had "ey" pressed into the block on the edge of where it was broken from the larger block. I'm guessing it was Turkish (Turk ey), but I can't say for certain. It was damn sure nice mixed in a fat J of the Kirsch weed.
