High guys,

My mother has psoriasis, and i have cannabis oil(she is a stoner too:D ) but she doesnt feel like rubbing the sticky substance on her feet for nothing so...........

I would love to hear from people that have psoriasis or that knows someone that has psoriasis

Not only that :D i would love to hear if you or the person you know used cannabis oil for this condition

If so , did it help or not?

I would only like to hear from people that have actual experience with this , no speculating

Cheers

i have tried it; got some at a dispensary some kind of tincture made to be rubbed on the skin; listed that is was meant to treat psoriasis (among other things)

i was not surprised to see that just like every other medication or natural remedy for psoriasis, its overpriced; and it doesnt work.
im back to bag balm just for some relief.

your mileage may vary. i am still interested in possibly making my own tincture a la rick simpson but i dont really have the time or drive for that kind of thing right now.

peace.

I get small spots of psoriasis which form as a dry scaly red spot and will turn into a sore that doesn't heal. It's mostly in the winter and it's due to allergies plus the dry conditions. I can put a prescription ointment with hydrocortisone on it and it clears it up a bit but it won't heal and go away. Stop using the ointment and it flares up.

I've made a tincture from leaves using iso alcohol, then dissolve the oil with a small amount of hemp seed oil to make a topical ointment. There is noticable improvement after one application and full healing of the spot within a week.

I have found the cannabis topical ointment speeds healing of sores and I also use if for arthritis relief.

It's my experience that cannabis has healing capabilities but you might have to try eating, smoking, tinctures or ointments to get the benefits for your particular problem.

much of the topical applications do not work because they are too weak. i make a topical inspired mathematically and technically by the biblical formula for "Holy Anointin Oil". i call it just that. the recipe follows:

Holy Anointing Oil, topical version

x = hash oil
.3x = coconut oil
x/15 = cinnamon bark oil
x/15 = cinnamon leaf oil
x/15 = myrrh oil
.1x = emu oil
.01x = jojoba oil

you may omit all but the first two ingredients. i would be a little cautious of the cinnamon for your application. heat the hash oil to at 100 degrees before adding and mixing the remaining ingredients.

i know from personal experience, this works.

That's probably why my stuff works. It's pure cannabis oil with just a bit of hemp seed oil to loosen it up a bit.

seems like you guys are talking about psoriasis vulgaris. four percent of vulgaris sufferers go on to get erythrodermic psoriasis which is when the WHOLE BODY becomes a psoriasis 'scab'! medical science knows nothing about this disease except as mentioned cortizone ... and chemotherapy ... which is not a cure but just fixes the symptoms till next time.

the body changes it's skin about every 28 days but with e/psoriasis this can be as short as 4 or 5 days! this is chaos for the immune system and sometimes people die from the strain on the heart as it pumps to make up new skin.

I was over the worst when I began using tinctures as part of a legal trial here. the tinctures seemed to 'roll back' the illness and within say two months I was functioning almost normally.

so as far as I 'm concerned unless there was a cosmic coincidence cannabis tinctures fix psoriasis. I am not cured tho ... just in remission.

cheers!

my mother has begun using the oil i made(i made the oil for a friend with ms but he gave me half of the oil)

it is 100% cannabis oil not diluted.

My mother only has psoriasis on the bottom of her left foot

lately it had become worse and she was scratching and scratching

i told her to rub some oil on it and for 2 days now she hasn't had any itching sensations

she is gonna use all the oil i made for topical applications
ii
i'll report back if something noticeable happens

but having no itch is also something she is happy about

this is good to hear, but i expected no less. on the bottom of her foot is a tough place for topicals. straight oil was probably best for that application. do keep us updated with progress.

Guys, Wilbur lost touch with this thread and missed yr questions.

his tinctures were for ingesting, not topical.

he doesn't know how the tinctures are made.

but the people who have this information can be located thru ICMAG member "Smoking Moose" ... or at www.hempembassy.net who supply me with these tinctures.

cheers!

My dog gets ringworm spots on her tummy from time to time, I treat them with a cannabis salve and they are always completely gone within a day or two.

the salve i use is made from decarbed cannabis coconut oil beeswax and tea tree oil

make sure if your applying it to animal to put a tshirt or e-collar on so it cant lick the salve.

have you actively alkalised your body?

if you pH test your second wee of the day for a week and work out the average you can see how acidic your system has become.. its should be 7-7.5.. just a standard chemical based pH will work fine..

it often accompanies arthritis, rheumatism and osteoporosis because your body sequesters sodium,calcium and potassium from the bones to alkalise the system..

if it gets worse seasonally,,,, ie this time of year when it is cold specifically,, then it is likely that you are not the right pH,, people find stress makes it worse as well because one of the effects of stress hormones is to release enzymes that cause damage to DNA and acidifies the system..

to alleviate cut beef out of your diet for a while, it specifically acidifies the system worse than chicken, pork and fish because of the type of amino acids making up the tissue.. cut out coffee if you drink it, it shouldnt surprise people from the way it can make you feel that that acidifies you lol.. drink mineral water over anything if possible because it usually is hard, with calcium etc, and have a wholegrain fruit and veg diet, specifically plant wise eat broccoli.. of any meat fish preferably..

often other skin ailments associated get alot better as well.. imo, i'm not speaking from personal experience, but i have advised this to a relative that has seen a big improvement :)

and these sorts of things take many weeks to months to fight because balancing the system doesn't happen instantly, after all it took many years to go awry in the first place..
