My my my, what a cool 'garage'! ... just jokn CC, but I do love that harvest set-up!

All that work by yourself huh? Yea, I'm in that boat this year, was trying to get my pops to donate some time, but he's been bogged down with things... buddies from out of town too busy as well.

Thinking the strain I have that was labled 'odyssey' might be that odyssey kush you showed, mine wasn't as wide of a bush, but mine was also in an extremely shady part of the yard where it had to stretch for some sun. Candy-like smell is what mine has.

Anyways CC... really impressed by that harvest set-up, swinging racks, very cool!

Hey Slang...Thanks for the good words. Truth known, I work better alone. No disappointments, drama or headaches. Just keep
yer head down, get to it, get thru it and get r done...LOL

The Odyssey Kush is an indica/sativa hybrid. The Odyssey itself is a strain developed exclusively for the HopeNet dispensary in San Fran. I wanted to run some Bubba but the O.K. was the only Kush I could find this spring. Any Kush is a winner in my gro-book. Hardy strains, easy growers and top quality meds IMO. Personally, the Kushes and Hazes are 2 of my favs to grow. Both are reliable, low gro-drama strains and always maintain marketability if ya fin yerself with excess...

Thanks again pard for sharin my trail...CC

Looking real nice, CC! Nice touch on the swinging racks. Thanks for showing the setup.

Last year I did the Romulan and liked everything about it except the huge quantity of sweetleaf it had. By the time you get down to just bud it's a bit smaller than you'd have expected. But it smells great and has awesome colas. Hopefully your cultural techniques made the difference.

I've been stoked about the Blue Dream the whole time, it's looking like it would be pretty good already...but I'm sure it needs to go through this coming weather to reach its peak. The Record-Searchlight says after this weather it'll be pretty nice through the first half of October. Sounds good to me.

You are a solid dude, CC. Respect to you, and best in the home stretch.

Hey Mani...Havent got to the final trim on the Romie but the rough cut dryin now does look kind of weird. There is a inside pack to it but youre right, lots of fluff on the outside. Hopefully, the size of the plant will make up for bud smallness if that turns out to be the case, although spending an hour on each bud to get something that resembles a ballpark frank aint gonna cut it either. LOL Definitely something also to consider in choosing strains for next year...

Yea, the little squall we had the other day was just a reminder of possible things to come. What's in store, I have no idea, I just hope the weather Gods go easy on us...It's all a grow-fella can ask for right? lol

Hey thanks man, for all your kind words and encouragement. Back at you fo sho...CC

On second thought, I need to retract this statement- "Hopefully, the size of the plant will make up for bud smallness if that turns out to be the case, although spending an hour on each bud to get something that resembles a ballpark frank aint gonna cut it either."

Ol CC is known for sayin some pretty smart things but every now and then, I can get a case of the "dumb-ass". First, I'm gratefull for ALL harvest, large & small. I'm puttin the final "mani" on some Odyssey Kush that is much smaller in size than some other strains I'm trimming as well such as the Grandaddy Purp. Compared to the donkey dick size GDP buds, trimming the OK is like messin with monkey peters. Just sayin... So, when youre early in your trim program, workin with the smaller stuff makes you think: Man, this is gonna take forever...But, I'm finding that although the Odyssey K is more time consuming to trim, it is a very unique strain in and to itself and I know it will be worth the extra time spent in prep and I will def grow it again. I really like the Kushes and sometimes, bigger just aint better. To put it in proper prospective, back in my indoor days I would have given my right gro-nut to turn out what I'm trimming now with the O-K...'Nuff said...CC

Hope all is well brother! I'm sure ur just stuck under heaps & messes o' flowers :tiphat:

Man the task of trimming that much must be daunting, knowing the way you like to work (solo) I'm worried ur trying to do all of it urself! I know it may seem absurd to stop & take pics granted the gravity of the work your dealing with, but I know I'd love to see this thread finished off!

Keep at it man :tiphat:

Hey TB...Thanks for the check-in and concerns...Yea, daunting would be a good description! LOL Yep, it's true, this ol cowboy is out gatherin the entire bud-herd by myself. No other choice. I dont want to bring in a trim crew and I have no friends I can really stand to be in the same room with for any length of time! And of course, my family wont touch me with a 10ft pole because they think I'm very dangerous, whatever that means...LOL

I'll give a complete wind-up to the SLEEPY HOLLOW in another week or so- I suspect around Halloween which would be awful fitting. So, things are good, the grow-Gods have surely blessed me and I have no right to complain about anything. As I have already said, I have some adjustments for next season ie; Strain choices, equipment upgrades and yield method improvements. All this will be discussed in the final round-up. Right now, I'm in search of SELF TRIMMING strains! Yea, I know, good luck with that...LOL CC

Haha sounds like a familiar spot your in ;-). Its funny how trimming a stress reliever is so stressful, quite the oxymoron.

Sounds like you will have been trimmin for a month+ before it's all done, just keep truckin! U should go grab some dry ice & make insta-hash to help you out. Can't wait for the Halloween update!
