ya them max fans are wassup.i hooked them up tonight to the 2 filters, and got them hoods cooled w a 8 in. max fan,all but 2,but i think ill be ok like tht for a sec.

That is some of the FATTEST OG I've seen in a very long time...tops the list for sure. First thing I thought when I saw it, in typical board fashion, "that's not the REAL OG, it doesn't get that big, looks like a hybrid for sure though..."

But really you have things looking mighty proper in there...swollen to the max. My eyes are on that daywrecker. Been looking to see pics of her like that since OvG days. No joke on the 2ltr colas....dankity dank dank!

Haha thanks man, The Diesel is fat for sure. She was the one that took to the increased feed schedule the best. She just keeps getting fatter and fatter.

I honestly cannot wait for the OG x SB.. I can't imagine what lurks in there but if I can speed up the veg of the sour bubble and/or slow down the stretch in the OG and get a good mix those two flowers..

Sounds pretty deadly to me.


Thanks again for the comments everyone and as far as the smoke report on the sour bubble... It smokes a lot like bubba.. Incredibly dense resin filled buds that are really expansive.. Taste is coffee/lime/bubba in that order and taste is all there. The high is numbing and perfect for evening.

You will definitely be playing with fire with those crosses. I did a SB bx4 cross with a lot of different cali clones and the OG and Headband (aka Daywrecker) really stood out bigtime.

heres a hairy ass chem dd that had a bit too much silica in the second week of flower. I see a lot of silica runs that have the leaves pointing down, and darker and less frost in general but yeild better...

Interesting.. Yeah i'm not sure.. I didn't give any silica until like day 47 which was after all the excess pistul production but damn that chem dd looks huge!

It got me thinking after CC's comments after he used the silica all the way through veg and flower, From what I gather he believes it makes the buds burn at higher temps giving a better high. I will run silica at 8 weeks on a 10 week run and see how they respond. Yeah it was pretty big but the smoke was not the best like what CC also said. We keep trying!

Honestly, gotta say, I grow differently than you folks, organically amended soil...but at the same time, I love the improvement I saw in my garden after adding ingredients that provide silica. Better water retention, stronger/thick stalks, stems, tougher leaves, better resistance to drought and higher temperatures...

Never noticed any more hair or more or less frost. higher/lower yields directly as a result of silica. I'd say it was an all perks kinda addition in my scenario...

Well ive talked plenty of shit to ya, for pretty much no good reason, gotta say ive never grown a plant that heavy in a 5gallon...holy shit man ya def know what the hell youre doing...

Hey Frank, good input, I can say to this point that the silica didn't hurt anything, I'll know whether it helped or not when I smoke it.

I love growing in amended soils. My problem is I don't have any room to store the amount of dirt I need for the month or so it needs to "cook"



Harvest time for a few of the girls.. I'll get some shots up tonight.
