A lot seem to be panicking with weatherman forecasts but really...... when have they EVER been right. To me.... this is just normal fall weather with a bonus warm spell, and as long as it maintains a day or two of rain/showers and couple days sunny, I'm good with that.

I just continue to keep an eye on them for mold, and give them a good shake following a rain or shower. But, until I see the girls no longer making use the weather, or giving signs of distress, I'll let them continue their life cycle to offer reward for my care.

I heard a very encouraging report on CBC yesterday. They had a government weather guru on, talking about the longer term forcast for the fall. He essentially said that the really wet weather we've been experiencing this past week or so is about over, and that he expects October to be sunny, warm and dryer than usual. He put a big smile on my face. I pushed it this year with some sativa dominant strains, and they're not close to finishing yet. Might just get a chance to see what they can do if the weather gods do indeed pass blessings on us.

September 26 and it's 25 degrees, 'feels like' 31. Could there be a better day to be a flowering ganja plant in Ontario?!

Few nights of -2/-3, Nirvana Bubblicious and Dinafem Powerkush are looking strong.

Surprisingly, the ones in smart pots above ground have less frost damage than the ones in the ground..

Expecting to harvest in the next ~10days.

Take care everyone!

Well, it's Oct 9th, and I think we hit around 27 degrees today. Been nice and dry for a week now, and looking for no rain until around Wednesday. Which is right around the full moon. Looks like a week of rain beyond that- so good on those of you who held on and got a piece of this lovely weather. Beyond this, it's looking like a crap shoot.

I'm sooo glad I waited an extra 2 weeks to harvest. I was tempted to harvest in late September when temps were running between 5-10 degrees and it was raining every other day. The last week has been reaching the mid-20's every day with nothing but sun! I went out of town on Friday, and when I returned today I swear that the colas had swelled 50% over the weekend. The buds looked much frostier, too. 12 hours to harvest - I'm going to have a hard time sleeping tonight.

Yup, same here Mrshpongle. Waited through 3 massive frosts of -2 to -4 degrees in the span of a week.

This was around Sept 14th, earliest we've had in a long time. The last week has been nothing but Sun and 25c, decided to harvest this past Sunday. Glad I did. All rain this upcoming week. The cold snap shocked the buds to start fattening up, and I gave em full strength up until chop, as I'm water curing my harvest. Made up for the week of frost growth.

Take care and be safe everyone. Thought a chopper spotted me a week before I cut. Didnt sleep much the last week, now everythings back to normal :)

Stay safe!

Congrats to all on their patient harvest !!

Really wish I cld hv taken advantage of the bonus weather, but budworm and a quick attack of mites caused me to start harvest early (Oct 4th).

Figure I cut and burned about 15-20%, but overall still did alright yield wise (personal), even though I would have preferred a bit more maturity and bud swell.

PEACE
