My 10" fan is quieter than my 6" fan; same brand (sunleaves). If noise is a concern I would just get a variac and turn it down a bit. With either of my fans, cutting the voltage just a little bit makes a big difference in noise. Using insulated ducting, especially on either side of the fan, will cut down on noise as well. With insulated ducting, bungee cords suspending the fan itself and a variac to turn it down a bit I've managed my noise pretty well. It's to the point where you would notice other things before the noise, such as very bright lights or a slight odor or a bunch of plants.

Yeah noise isnt to big of an issue . I mean I never worked with inline fans I just hope there not too too loud. Its the freakin smell im tryin to hold out till I get my money for the scrubber...any other brand recomendations for fans filters etc

It looks to me like you have either electric or hot water / steam convectors for heat, and not a forced air setup. At one end of the metal convectors running around the room, (Probably on the right hand side of the room) under those metal covers is a switch, or a valve. Close or turn it off. No more heat.

Thanks for the tip but actually those vents that wrap around the room dont work the heat and ac come out of that vent in the ceiling the heat is electric and the unit is in the attic above the room

Hi Benny I just got this fan and filter combo for a total cost of 189.45. The picture doesn't do this thing justice. It is freaking HUGE as hell. The fan isn't that loud at all. I have this sucker inside my 4x4x7 grow tent and it will totally implode my tent if I have it sealed up! I'm not kidding lol! I have to keep the passive intakes open or it will crush my tent lol. It's working very well for me and for the CFM's on this fan, the price is very good Plus, you get a big ass carbon scrubber. I think my plants are suffering from nitrogen toxicity the newer fan leaves have a "claw" look to them and there also starting to twist... Im going to try post some pics up its just such a pain doing it from my phone

@ sam the clone I was gifted oringaly came from a bag seed grow afoaf ran it many many times and has had any herm issues...on the other hand the white russian from serious seeds had two green non viable late flowering nanners on her so go figure
