Propane water heater as CO2 generator....

As I can't get a water-cooled CO2 generator here in Europe, it has been recommended to me to use a portable or indoor tankless gas water heater, which is fundamentally the same thing.
Are there any threads out there that I should look at?
Anyone got any clever advice for me regarding this?
Thanks in advance.

u can use it.... :dance013:
try a ventilated one, it has lots of safety tech and is quite nice for the price u get it (fagor or vulcano ones are in my target area too, +- 300€).

I've only seen 2 nextgens in use... neither was up & running... needed shit to get fixed... one of those two dumped it entirely. don't think you're missing much bro.

but a small propane lantern or grill from the camping section will work too... and much cheaper.

We did it once, cut a 4" diameter hole thru concrete into the grow space. The negative pressure pulled the co2 in from the hot water heater enclosure, and it worked fucking great and didn't require any time of metering or fan timing controllers. But it also put the co2 level in the area at very high levels, had to shut off the exhaust fan and pump in fresh air before going in.

Yes, you can die from carbon dioxide poisoning... it happened in a McDonald's restaurant restroom a couple of weeks ago.

I used a ventless propane log fireplace as extra heat in cold weather. The plants loved it. Gas fireplaces have built-in CO2 detectors.
There has never been a fatality in the U.S. from a gas log fireplace. (CO2, wise)
(I read that, somewhere?)

Two plants...

Exhibit A......
