I started this plant along with 11 other plants, this being the only autoflower. I only had one fem seed which I recieved as a freebie with an order from another seedbank which I purchase from now and then if I can't find what I need at the Bay or Boo. I have grown lowryder and a lowryder cross in the past and haven't been overly impressed with autoflowers.
I grew this not expecting much as a result of past experience but found myself pleasantly surprised by this particular plant. The trichrome coverage was good and the aroma wasn't really fruity but there were undertones of fruit/funk noticeable. The closest overall comparison I can make regarding smell is that it was similar in some ways to the less fruity SwT#3 phenos I have had.
The first joints I had of this gave the impression of an indica sativa mix that was leaning towards niether and left me with a dirty, confusion inducing high. I guess I shouldn't have chucked half dry bud in the microwave! I know, it's shameful I just had to have a smoke though and thought I'd try it. Never again.
Once the bud dried properly the high changed to a more pleasant sativa type buzz that was followed by a knockout effect after 2-3 joints. I have found that out of a vaporizer this bud really comes to life and actually has a lot of good points. The taste is actually quite nice and has an apple/menthol flavour to it which is quite nice. Out of the vape I can keep loading and loading and I just keep getting higher and higher. I have found this with a lot of other strains but not all and to find it in an autoflower was a surprise.
Overall this bud gets a 7/10 which is closer to a 6 but the fact it's an auto scores it an extra point due to the potency. Would I grow it again? yes, and I'd throw it in DWC to pull a nicer yield off it. How does it compare to normal bud? it stacks up quite well surprisingly, it's very impressive just how strong the smoke is, well the vapor actually. I'm not an autoflower fan on the whole but this served it's purpose which was to supply a little smoke until I pull the normal plants. It changed my attitude towards auto's in general though thanks to it's potency.
