A buddy build me this, traded him 3.5g of fresh pressed hash for the help
I did however buy the press mould from Aqua. Wish he had made that as well.

14g in the block pictured. Gotta work on my technique now And research some threads on the subject as well.

Oh no forgot to quip on the ops question...sounds easier than using an iron to heat it between tin foil/silver paper...obvious matter of scale there.

This guy has all the toys, a jack press, the still and chutes and latter's to boot. Ras called it, a Jerry Bear welded to the press plate. Taking it to the next level. Ya just gotta know Bears medicine chest is dank as funk. Respect. 1

Yea still no press here. Well I have a bunch of bottle jacks, just nothing to put in it lol. Well not enough, so back to scissor hash for now. Bear I didn't mean like break me off a piece. I just meant like puff puff pass to celebrate your new toy.

Sure. Use the bear from your avatar? How big is the press block, 2x4?

It would actually be fairly easy to make. Carve the mold into a piece of wax or plaster and then copy it a dozen times, one for each of the lil squares. And then pour it into an aluminum mold.

It would think that aluminum would handle the pressure okay and should transfer anything harmful or tastes to the finished block.

I'm kinda stoked now. I might have to fart around with the idea this summer when things slow down and I have some free time.

I have a machinist friend who has made me a few press molds, I've often thought about asking him for a rectangular ounce sized one with 4 rows of 7 chocolate-bar style squares. Then you'd be able to snap off roughly gram sized chunks by eye .
