my insane "friend"

I've often thought it, but I've just now determined that I have a schizophrenic friend as well after reading this thread. He often tells me how he never watches the news or reads the paper, like he is above paying attention to the minutia that normal people might be interested in. That is until there's a story about some alleged conspiracy then he's all over it. He just can't get enough. Blowing up my phone for weeks with his drivel. For example the dude still hasn't stopped talking about the 9/11/Fox news thing. He's constantly peppering me with crap about how his phone is tapped, he's got people watching him, everyones always out to get him, etc.. Always trying to put shit in my head that I try so hard to keep out cuz I think it's bs and I hate him for it. He fucked up his own life, he is not societies victim as much as he thinks is.

I much prefer my schizophrenic friends to my narcissistic or sociopathic ones. Now they are hard work and will take me for everything i've got given the chance. It's much easier to evade them as i know they don't care about me in the slightest (other than for what resources I have). Schizo friends do often care tho which is why they tell you about all this crazy stuff and why it's more difficult to cut em off...

Not everyone is cut out to be "normal". Myself, I dread the word. The last thing in the world that I'll ever be, is normal. Personally, I find it unfair to call anyone and everyone who doesn't think and believe the things that you do is a paranoid schizophrenia sufferer. I have a strong suspicion that many "normal" people have a difficult time understanding where some of these conspiracy folks are coming from, and unfairly lump them into the "wacko reptilian alien" group.

"Normal" people believe things which are just as whacked out nuts as the reptilian crowd. It's just socially acceptable to do so.

BTW, the television and news is absolutely full of propaganda and lies. The choice to see it that way or not is yours. It's unfair to call those who have figured this out and no longer buy into it as paranoid nuts.

I don't think we're calling him schizophrenic because he believes different things than us, rather because he's described as exhibiting symptoms of a known disease. Do you not believe in schizophrenia?

It's one thing to have some off color beliefs, it's another thing when they are accompanied with unhealthy habits and relationships.

yeah he's most likely schozophrenic...isolating himself from the outside world and family and friends, desperately clinging to anything that supports or validates his grandiose delusions - he'll see a youtube video about how 2012 is actually October of this year and we're all going to die except a few, who will be teleported to another solar system or dimension. Then taking precautions against said event - gathering dried foods, etc. THAT is FAR different than having some ideas that there COULD possibly be the POSSIBILITY of aliens, etc. It's taking it to a whole other level - an INSANE level. If you were to ask him "well what happens if this never happens?" he would fly off the handle and start being very hostile that you questioned his huge fantasy/delusion, and critisize you for something totally arbitrary - like smoking cannabis.
He's off the handle. If he were to see chemtrails one day, and it rained later in the week - he would go "see!!! I told you!!!" and CLING to that like it was the greatest thing ever. Because it supports his insanity. What he needs his an antipsychotic medication and much therapy. But he will NEVER partake in either, because he thinks he's sane and EVERYONE else on the planet is crazy. He can not be trusted for ANYTHING. Like a child. And he's in his 30's. I guess he basically IS a child...mentally.

pretty nice quality too :)

meet enough trustworthy people and have a nice family and you tend to think people are nice and that you can trust them.

pretty obvious we have overlords and we dont know much about them.
thinking they are aliens? mjeh, might as well be lol.
thinking they have absolute control over everything? no, they just have hired thugs and snitches. (who want to be boss or get luxuries (sex))

the crash in 2008? obvious in 1998.
what did it take to see it? not following blindly the herd and wisdom.
the wise have not been listened to, for a long time.
they do not seek "luxuries" or fame and you probably wouldnt know them if you met them in the street.

did it involve aliens? dunno, but it sure involved alot of idiots.

but its absolutely inconsequental if they were aliens.
if they are, they are weak like in the movie "they live"
controlling with propaganda and mindcontrol.

but they dont need that, people are stupid, they want to be boss, they want to be the best.

they want to be beautiful. they want love and attention

and they are seeking for it in all the wrong places.

same old story, same old shit.

How many of us aren't a bit crazy? What about religious beliefs? Aren't they crazy?
Think of the religious beliefs of billions of people throughout history. Mankind has created 10,000 gods in his time. Some of them had to be wrong, yet they believed.
He has worshipped just about anything you can imagine as gods. The Egyptians, Greeks, Romans had all manner of gods, as did the Mayans. Muslims today believe there are 17 virgins waiting for them if they blow themselves and others up. Isn't that insanity? What about fundamentalist Christians? I know a guy who you would think is reasonable, yet he believes in creationism, that the world was created 6000 years ago, and nothing existed before that. There were no dinosaurs. I ask, but what are those skeletons in the museums?
Nope, you cannot reason with him. Is that insanity?
To me it is. To him it's reality. Reality is a tough thing to put your finger on. Think of physics. Smaller and smaller and smaller particles, seemingly ad infinitum. Is that desk in front of you solid. Are you sure? Because in one reality, it's overwhelmingly empty space, as each atom is mostly space, with the electrons way, way, way far away from the nucleus. So it is mostly empty space, but if I bang your head into it, it sure seems solid.
All of us have some crazy beliefs, and when we go to sleep at night, we have some crazy dreams.
The problem with mental illness is that they have their dreams while awake.
Schizophrenia can be brought on and exacerbated by LSD and other psychedelics, and it's probably best for those so afflicted not to smoke herb.
But I still don't understand why you gave the guy your passwords.
Now that's crazy:)
