Temp/humidity readings in vert

Just wondering where everyone takes their readings, I mean in proximity to the bulb mostly.

Horizontally most people say to take readings at the top of the canopy, so what about vert?

Yeah but I've never seen anyone with a thermometer hanging in front of their vertical canopy, thats why I asked.

Vert can be tricky because most if not all of us have fans blowing air up around the bulb, if its blowing to hard it will cause hot air to be pushed around the room. I take my reading typically near the top of the cab but i am always aware of how close the plants are to the bulb by doing the hand test. Its just how I do it....

I take it at bulb height- at canopy distance about 28.5c 600w

I do exactly just that. I just use a thermometer that has an additional wire that can be extended outside or inside of stuff to measure temps.
