leaving the room for a minute after toking, then coming back in

Has anyone else noticed that if you leave the room after you smoke, when you come back you get a much more complete smell profile of what you just smoked? Every strain/pheno I have smells totally unique when I approach it this way.

If I stay in the room though, it just smells like smoke.

Definitely. Has to have something to do with breathing it...if you're breathing it I guess maybe we can't smell it that much.
What I find weird is after I smoke - say I close the door to the room and come back an hour later - it reeks. But while I was smoking it seemed like I had 100% stealth.
I've smoked the occassional bone in the house and with like 3 doors closed was told the hallway smelled like weed. I want incense that smells JUST like cannabis.

hell yeah, take a chop stick and roll it in honey then kief. Repeat until desired thickness is achieved, then let dry. I accidentally smoke incense all the time because it gets mixed with my burnt bowl remainders.

Sweet Skunk and Congolese I will actually leave the room on purpose for a bit, just to be able to come back for the smell. It is a special treat with those 2, that I do not notice for most. Peace GS

yeah I have this one hazexskunk mix that has a special odor that is really interesting but also not "of this world", so to speak. Which is to say it doesn't smell "like" anything, but it's a strong, complex spicyness that is unlike any other bud i have had.
