If it's one of those pollen catching grinders you'll need to clean the screen with a toothbrush and some iso...

That should stop your screen clogging up and turning green

i think I figured it out - when I get the screen of death it's because chat is not open! There needs to be an admin or mod there to open it or whatever...and since I'm a hobo, most of the time I try to get into chat is when everyone else is working.
Diggity sorry if I made you open chat dude! I'll come back later when everyone's around. Had a very bad day. VERY bad.
