???Hermies???

My camera won't give me the kind of detail that would show you what I am talking about so I will try and describe it. I had to start my crop from seedling because of a major crop failure last year so I had no clones. I set my garden to flower on August 5 and have now pulled out what appears to be males (and there were plenty--perhaps 45% males. I moved them to a seperate room so I can collect their pollen as I have a mixed strain crop and make my own seeds. (I lost pollen during the power outage as well) I found four "males" that have pollen sacks at the top of the plant and white hairs underneath. Are these hermophodites?

I live where electricity stopped a lot, three kids ran loose, no plumbing, 40 degree temp gradients.

I grew lots of hermies.

But I seem to remember the hairy buds appearing on top first with little 1/8" minibanana's masquarading as ugly parallel almost-hair clusters attacking from down under.
Don't have any to look at, and being really and truly ripped right now, it could have been different.

This isn't helping. The last time I posted this ripped I got a neg, went back and read the post, just about gave myself another one, sarcasm isn't funny out of context. But back to the point.

I have a stable hermie sativa strain, won't go full amber without seeds. I have a small separate budroom I have let a few plants run with it in.
I'm thinking those clusters I remember show up later, I don't remember them showing less than 6 weeks in. I don't remember remembering this poorly before either, but I guess I wouldn't remember something like that.

Stress induced hermies are not a variety though.
I stressed my strain into early hermie once. Grow was going along strange and all at once a 10 inch cola popped a 3" boinger. Embarrassing to let my daughter in the room. "Dad, I'm 20 you know"
No no not my baby.
OK, I 'spose, she IS first sword in the dojo. And she didn't mean to make that jerk cry "why did he pull? I had a hold of his wrist." Stupid males.
No, she's not a hermie.

Hermie's have buds on top pollen down lower. Full males can have pairs of hairs, but bud has clusters of pairs. Or do males have single hairs? too phallic, less hairs for sure though.
Hermies should have hairs in 2 different places maybe. Yah, I'll run with that.

If not, I meant well. Those who read "pearls before swine" already heard that.
