good vibes from this cab

High!!! Ive been doing alot of lurking and collecting for a long time now and decided to get some opinions on my little project.
I gave away my last cab and slowly collected parts for my new one here are a couple pictures.


the cooltube is a 150 watt, the lighting in the veg room isnt permanant . I have a 225 bulb led panel im throwing in there soon. the led is something to test out..i also have four 18 inch flouros that i can put in there too...im pretty much leaving it open so i can try various lights for veg. cool thing is i have it set up so whichever light i have connects to the same cord. ninfty. lol

the hydro setup is going to be one or two 3 gallon tubs for swc. The thing im tripping on is my carbon filter and the locks.. im sure ill figure it out eventually ...i took my time sealing up the cracks and gaps...the filter im working on is the biggest pain in my ass cause of the amount of space i have to work with.

well later ill post more stuff as i finish it. i cant wait to start these tomatoes.....:)

why thank yeee! you should of seen my first cab attempt...whew...im really happy about this.really think some good will come out of this.

Wow this is looking sick Anbu. Scrubbers can be pretty tough in a micro scenario, but you'll figure it out after coming this far.

Hey on the locks you have lots of cool options. You could do a simple cam lock like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCyu76Fa6K0.

Could try a tot lock if you want simpler.

There are also electromagnetic locks that aren't too bad to install.

Looking forward to seeing your cab come together in it's final stages.

I am running a simular setup.

Like to pass along invaluable advice that was given to me when i started:

FIM-once you start, you will never stop.

Vertically mount your light.

Looks really cool. Is that middle shelf supported? It looks like it will snap like a glo-stick if you put weight on it.....

Beautiful kitty, does he love lying in the hps rays, mine does.

Nice setup! I had something quite similar going on if you look at my previous posts. I had to rip it down because we were going to sell our house. Now I"m going to make a new one. A small hint for you is to screw in some power bars on each of the sides (2 in flower section - 2 in veg section) and plug in some cfls for some extra lumens. Just keep an eye on your temps though. Looking forward to see what you can produce with this!

thanks everyone!!

im usin tot locks like i did with my old cab.its beyond simple and efficient.

yea the scrubber i often thought of attatching to the front of the cooltube ( not directly but you know lol ) but i just dont know how it would effect the flow of air. Temps are one thing im worried about. i want to redo the intake and the vent between cabs...i dont know if u can see it in the pix but in the back of my veg room is the bar that makes the vent between cabs. i actually have an idea i need to work on ..hmmm
The wood dividing the rooms is about 3/4 inch thick..i put about 90 pounds of weights on it and it didnt buckle.oh and the L brackets too xD
now i thought about doing a vertical...i actually drew plans for a cooltube vert but i didnt think enough about it cause i was so stuck on my design now. maybe later after some more practice.

i just put in my led light and drilled the holes for the totlocks..sleepy..will update tomorrow with pix of the utility room.:wave:
