Living side by side in my tent!

Got a few Nirvana White Rhino, and a few Paradise Ice Cream going on in my tent. They were vegged from clone for 4 weeks under t8 and have just ended their first week of 12/12 under a 600 watt air cooled block buster.

This will be the second time running the Nirvana White Rhino, the first time I ran it this plant was the runt and never got a fair chance to show me what she had. She got nute burn early on and never really recovered from it, I screwed up and didn't get clones of all the phenos, and lost the best tasting best high one of the bunch (tasted like hash), the others just weren't desirable either slim yielders with no taste, or huge yielders and the bud taste like a barn smells. So I kept this one to give her another chance, and so far she seems to be doing fine.

The Ice Cream is one of two cuts I have of it, I call it Ice Cream B, Ice Cream B is a dense, dark green Christmas tree looking plant when it is grown normally. The buds are super crystally a little fluffier then the other cut (Ice Cream G) I have. This is one of the most visually appealing plants I have ever grown. The taste is a smooth creamy vanilla with hints of skunk and pine just like the Paradise description. This will be the fourth time I've ran the Ice Cream. She doesn't yield the best but the buds are unbelievable were talking gooey, stinky, crystally all the way to the stem, rock hard buds!

Ne way I'll try to keep this thread updated with weekly pics, but for now on with the show...

Thanks for stopping by killerweed!

Well week 2 will be over tonight, the girls have been trimmed up twice and the ties have been tweaked since last week. Running the nutes at about 1.90 I love it when the buds are starting to form!

Right On! Just started on here yesterday and now that I know my way around, watching a grow like this progress is the reason I joined. Looking Awesome, I know what you mean about the "weekly" updates but every 2-3 would be nice?

Here we are at the end of week 3, I've gave the girls a little more cleaning up and some more training. The White Rhino is a mutant freak, maybe it wasn't really my fault that it got all jacked up the first run.

Any way here we Grow!

First up group shot... Ice Cream on the left, Rhino on the right...

Best I can describe the cured nugs would be a mix of chocolate, nut, and fresh ground coffee. Very unique smell and taste!

budman they were flipped on august 6, they just ended their 4th week of flower yesterday, and they are all from clone.

Yea I have 2 Blockbusters not too sure how well I like them yet, everything I've grown under them has been a little fluffy, and they are a pain in the ass to clean. I just picked up a DayStar AC, it puts out a pattern more like my old pl deeps do so I'm kinda excited to see how it does. My sssdh seedlings will be the first run under it.

Looking really great man! Keep it up :dance013:

Thanks for dropping by... they are looking even better today. :joint:

Week 5 is about history, these girls are pretty much on auto pilot! The white rhino hasn't really impressed me too much yet, it may very well be the end of the line for her after this run.

No pics this week was busy taking care of other things...The ice creams are starting to look dank with their peach hairs starting to show, while the rhinos are begining to pack on some frost and weight... other then that we are still cruising on auto pilot running the maxi at about 1.9

Until next time...

Thanks for dropping by budelight, I use ro water starting at .04 with Gh Maxi Gro in veg, and Gh Maxi Bloom in flower, and some DynaGro ProTekt to keep the ph in check. I also give them a little bump with some GH Kool Bloom powder when the buds are starting to form and before res changes. Once in a great while I'll hit them with a bit of CalMag Plus if they are having trouble with the transition from veg nutes to bloom nutes. But 99% of the time I don't use any calmag, from my experience Maxi Bloom has enough in it.

I have procured some Monster Bloom (Grotek) and have hear it is used similarly to KoolBloom. Rather than follow the "scheduled weeks" that this is recomended to be used, i would really prefer dosing the plants when they can use it best. I recognize that you say "when buds are starting... before res changes" which suggests that you know your plants well....

Growing in FFOF soil with my current bagseed grow, rather than feed the Monster Bloom "..when buds are forming and continue to use with every fertilizer application during the blooming cycle. Stop using during last two weeks of flowering. " Would you suggest a lighter schedule? I have also been told to use it "week 5 flower and go half strength from whatever the bottle says"

Cheers,
Budelight

Sorry I'm a little elevated right now and can't comprehend the strength question, but I will say you have been given good advice to use it at half strength of what the bottle says.. good place to start any way.

I have never used the Kool Bloom as directed on the package so I'm not sure if the way I use it is better or not. I use it very sparingly to supplement the maxi bloom when I feel it will help.
