flushing salts

If you have plant in a 3 gallon pot with a fitted 3 gallon drip pan will the salts in the drip pan cause problems. Is letting the runoff just evaporate out good enough? Once the salts flush from the soil is that enough, or is it nesasarry to have some sort of way to remove the runoff?

you should be fine i have never noticed any issues.

Depends... Are you creating soo much runoff that the pot is setting in water for 5-10 min?

Leaving pots stand in water is "TROUBLE" with a capital T
