I got a "job" and I'm not very happy

ive been at sea. few times lol. my bro used to work it for real though.

its allright..

long as you dont get too seasick (frankly, you can get so seasick, that id prefer malaria and ive tried it )

and dont mind cramped quarters, little sleep and not that much pay, considering the hard work you put into it. noisy job too, nothing to do but work, sleep and porn.

and your life is sometimes on the line or physical health (which will be pretty bad if you work the sea decades at grunt level)

so yeah, wouldnt recommend it, unless ya loved the sea or really needed the cash

but it can get pretty great too, as long as you get along with the crew and dont have a stupid captain.

sometimes fantastic views from the sea and good camaraderie.

it is true, it IS easier to find a job while you have one BUT dont sell yourself out or your soul!!! i had a shit job and stayed because i thought that things would get better, all it did was get worse.

my job drained on wore on me mentally and physically with no benefit or thanks in sight to it all.

if you see the forest for the trees then leave it at that and leave that particular job situation alone.

tis true and dont get me wrong, everyone has to start somewhere but that doesnt mean that you have to start "there" in particular. if there are other things down teh pike that you know are better suited to your talents, theres some gratification to be had and you can tolerate it, besides making a profit then yeah go for it.

a job where you have to spend more than half your paycheck just to fucking get there?!?! naaah dude , that makes no sense whatsoever!! and then you gotta deal with the stress and its a hig stress/volume place? and then you havent even met (and when i say met, i mean actually worked with) the ppl your gonna be working with so you have no clue as to what thats gonna be like, so nine times out of ten theyre gonna be asshats cause your all in the shitmill together.
