Co2 generators vs. bottled Co2

This might be a little off topic but it seems all the CO2 guys are in here....we all know when the plants take in CO2 they give off 02....there is only so much space in your sealed room, so wouldn't you need to ventilate at least 2-3 times per day for a few minutes exchanging at least one full rooms worth of air, just to get the O2 out of the room and make more "space" for CO2?

Where do you guys keep your propane tanks?

I was at a propane shop where they repair these things (and service all propane related equipment) and when they found out my 20 lb tank is in the house they had a fit and told me I was f'ing nuts...Seems these tanks are not at all meant to ever go inside a house.

They insisted that I rig the tank up outside and got me scared enough that ill probably have a natural gas line run to my dryer so I can use that instead.

I ain't been sleeping so good since I spoke to those guys. What do y'all think?

Oh gosh lol. Yeah its technically a huge safety risk, but it depends on the circumstances. If the bottle falls over and the valve gets knocked off, its a very dangerous situation. Or if the tank ruptures, or a line leaks. I wouldn't worry about it too much personally, I keep 20lbs tanks in my shop for my propane heater and I do not worry in the least. The biggest fear I have there is CO poisoning, which I vent for.

mine is inside and has been for many years. i did install a built in leak detector and check every time i switch tanks .

I setup a water cooled burner and found the pressure regulator, fittings and hose that came with the unit was too short and was total junk. Rather than go through all the trouble of routing NG lines. Go get a proper hose made to length with a quality US made regulator on it. I would venture a guess that this will prevent the majority of potential problems.
