Good Online Store?

So, I'm looking at Grener's and they don't even carry "standard" HID bulbs like Sylvania. Well, that's what I order, that's what I want, because they cost 35 bucks, not 75 bucks. And one of my requirements for a store is they have to carry shit like this - simple things that they should carry. That's one of the reasons I settled on PLH in the first place - because I can order almost everything I need from them. That way I save on shipping, save on hassle, and don't have to spread my personal info all over creation. The only thing I've ordered more than once that they don't carry is 1/2 gallon grow bags.

"Generic" HID bulbs seems like a no brainer to me.

I've used the plusrite bulbs for a while, and they are very reasonable.

Been ordering off the web for years. Plantlighting is by far the best time wise and prices gaurenteed to not find cheaper trust me ive compared order after order and always end of going with Plantlight.

Used greners, used pretty much all the ones listed nad whatever you do DON`T use HORticultureSource.com. They literally only have an answering service yo u cant actually tlk to anyone that works for the actually store.

Ive tried to get discounts on shipping etc from plantlight on pretty big orders they dont really budge maybe help out on shipping if its 10k i dunno may not. Either way their prices on rockwool and bulbs and such has always blown everyone else out but then again you gotta factor shipping obviously.

Every site has fucked up its impossible not to but its about consistency in my opinion and they have done a pretty good job.

My store got hot for a year or so with cops watching apparently so i had to go strictly to the net and i bitch when plantlight doesn`t have the weird thing i may need cause i have to use another store. Glad i get to rep them finally been using them for years. Good to see other people reppin them too makes me feel like i found best store on the net for sure

I have not ordered from online stores, but went to HTG Supply and NE Hydro before and they are fine, NE Hydro seems the cheapest around to me. The service is much better at HTG Supply, almost too good as they are talking with you constantly. At the other place, the guy was reading a magazine and you practically had to go and poke him with a stick for help. Both are great in my opinion.

i have done a ton of business with thehydrosource.com he will pricematch the lowest price i can find online, and ships super fast to where i am (the PNW). from eagle20 and forbid, to bloombastic and the dm gear i use sometimes, hands down best i have ever dealt with.

also, he stocks the plantmax blue hps bulbs for 30 bucks....i love em.

Thousands of dollars in past orders doesn't mean anything to them so I don't see why I should give them thousands of dollars worth of future orders I have to make. Hey, they don't want my business, fine by me.

Second Also...if you cannot find what you need on their site...call them..talk to my boy Mike...he usually can get you anything you need. You just need to call them.

also if you ask for discounts, pizza man dude's boy MIKE will just tell you that "you are already getting a great discount with the price we are selling it at"..... which he is partially correct, but i call bullshit! if you have spent over ten thousand dollars there, and have sent countless other referrals to them via the internet, they still dont give a FUCK. They really SHOULD start giving a fuck but oh well, they know i keep coming back .... cuz they know their prices are like a limp dick......can't b beat....

ive spent lots of time on the phone with the whole company,a lot of the times with mike (the owners bitch), and also with the owner BRUCE (has to be in his seventies, and is a total businessman, and really does not condone marijuana growing, and he is really a straight edge (or super convincing, pro actor), but a real businessman. The guy wont even carry advanced nutrients simply because he claims they advertise for marijuana use which he does not condone. its not THAT big company. They started small, and thanks to ME name dropping them here on icmag from the beginning of their origin (years ago), they have grown EXPONENTIALLY... i have told them i name dropped them also, and they still dont really give a fuck about giving me deals....(fuck man who knows maybe everyone tells them they drop their name online?)

a lil background info on the company:

i am pretty sure that they have a whopping 6 people in their office, all of whom do random things such as setting up their showroom, dealing with online customers, dealing with vendors, editing website, customer service, etc.... They also hired some highschool/college kids to pick, pack, and fill the orders (the labor intensive shit)......the company is still small but with this continued name dropping on these popular grow forums, and the whole industry just blowing up, these guys might be going public soon - if they can connect the dots correctly from here on out that is......

"ThePizzaMan's" dude mike is in his late twenties and is the brains behind the whole operation. The kid is the one who did most of the work on their website, and is the backbone of the company. Bruce is the money man, and the one that funded the whole operation... im pretty sure i can say that Bruce got lucky in life for landing a business partner in mike.... Bruce pays the kid a flat rate.......its a shame because if he paid him on commission then im guessing he would be willing to barter a little more on items...


can y'all tell that I take this growing business seriously .... LOL... i even go as far as getting to know the company i buy all of my equipment from - in a futile attempt to get a better bargain...keep the overhead low and da profits high my people...

I have to comment. Lil Wayne..that is so funny. And really, he's not really my boy, I just know him from dealing with him a few times. I am so small, that it really doesn't matter...however he was always very courteous, and the people in their office seemed really nice.

They have the lowest prices on the internet, and I have never had a problem with them. Being that I have only dealt with them a few times....I'm not sure how much weight you would want to put on my recommendation....however....I am confident they are one of the best online stores out there today.

A big rally for medical mj was recently held in Lansing, MI and HTG, which has a retail store in town, was there. One of their employees was on the clock handing out lighters and brochures and they also donated a ballast for a raffle benefiting some pro MMJ organization. That gets them a +1 in my book.

Why not give toohighmf a chance. He sells all the equipment ya need. Plus it keeps the business with an established member. Heck with making these stores rich that can care less about us. Give the business to people who are in our business.
