Anything over 5 plants= 6 months in jail min.

Didn,t realize that law was passed ...musta been since Harper got a majority..
It died in the senate when the election was called this year, but I didn,t hear anything about the bill being passed since the Con majority with their majority Con senate......Can anyone provide the bill and when it passed?
Thanx

The bill wasn't passed. S-10 C-15 has mandatory minumum at 6 plants, as well as for production of hash, oil, cookies, etc. It has still to be brought before the government once more. forgive me I am high and forget all the specifics of it at the moment... at one point I was up to date on it but since the whole Harper back in again thing I have lost a little hope...then Jack passing away...( Anyway, you can find all the details of it on whyprohibition.ca

So benji, what is the law now? I heard it was mandatory 5 or 6 plants 6months....

Damn chong I seen you posting at this site for awhile...thats bad news my friend...I feel your pain man trust me... hopefully your lawyer can work something out and it's your first offense....Good luck man you'll be out of the system again one day... think positive sometimes there isn't much we can do but let time solve the problem ahead....Peace.

even with a conviction you can still grow for yourself but you cant be a designated grower my advise is to continue the mmar application process it may help your case in court good luck

it really depends what you can convince the judge of. as most all court cases do. look at oj simpson, lol, no fine at all, and that was like 1st degree double homicide. d

So right now say you get busted with x amount of plants even 5 what are you facing?

That law hasn,t passed yet but soon will with Harper at the wheel. As of right now I don,t think there is anything written in stone that you will get manditory jail time with 5 or more plants. There was one ready to go thru when the Fed election was called but it died in the House....But you can be sure it will be re-introduced shortly.
The old ones were C-15 then the next one was Bill S-10.So no worries yet with getting caught with a number of plants no matter the numbers.....It is up to the judge but as I said before there is no mandatory as of yet.....

seeking and getting r 2 totally diff things chonger.

its up to the judge, or jury(which you wont get for pot normaly). just plead not guilty until you pretrial hearing with the real judge that will witness your side of the story. chances are the judge may side with you and the crown will make you an offer.

from that point you need to hire a lawyer or strike a deal with the crown with counsel or on your own.

to save a ton of money just go to court the 15 times it takes to plea your not guilty, then decide whats best for you at the pretrial hearing,

ps if you had no money or weapons or any other contraband, and just have plants growing or processed medicine in storage, have no priors for the same offences, then you may get to do time at home, if that. which really isnt that bad at all.

crown counsels are the worst, and muck up more then police alot of the time. take it to the end, they may even lose the evidence against you and set you free, d
