Forever young

I found myself in that exact place from time to time.
Some fat twat brings out all the medals, shots of the kids, wife, house, car and pretty dogs, and straight after he asks..." What have you been up to?"
By then i am laughing to myself while thinking...another poor soul that takes "having" for "being"...
Usually this kind of judgmental person is deeply hooked on alcohol, Big Pharma drugs and vain relationships :)
You don't need to listen to those kind of people and if you do please just feel sorry for them instead of starting to question your own beliefs ;)
You've outgrown your "friend" in all possible ways if you ask me

NEVER EVER FORGET WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO BE A KID

A day will come soon enough unfortunately that a little wide eyed little you is gonna come up to you with a situation that might decide your relationship for years to come and remembering those words will help you make the CORRECT decision because you remember what it was like to be him or her in their world not the one you live in now.

A kid laughs on average over 150 times a day an adult 50.

I say if growing old makes me laugh less and a whole lot bitter and or meaner (god forbid) I'd have to say I gotta go now the mini me just got home and we got homework first then Looney Tunes at 3 and 2 new Kick Buttowskis saved on the DVR.

Acting grown up is no fun, so I do as little of that as possible. I straighten up, give the adult response, and then it's back to being a kid.

The wonder and curiosity of being a kid, that I'll never lose.

That dude is a classic Douche-bag! I've got nothing for judgmental, passive aggressive pieces of shit, except for a phat dick they can suck on! Go away and die happily telling yourself you grown up.

for most people "growing up" basically means becoming a sell-out corporate drone caught in the inescapable wheel of consumer debt and reducing your sense of humor by 80%.

fuck that!

Quite often when people use phrases like "I've grown up now" in relation to ceasing/starting certain activities it's because they're trying to make themselves feel better about their own choices and situation in life -- it's an attempt to validate themselves to themselves.

Yup,
I grew up too...

I used to just smoke weed.

Now I grow it.
It's a 'mature' relationship. I love my plants and my plants love me.
Wish I had started doing it many years ago.

That ass-wipe tried to put you down. Scratch him off the Christmas card list.

yeah i see alot of GROWN up people iused to go to school with ,they are completeley lost, and wound up in the superficial world/popular culture with a shitload of debt.
most of them just go through the movments of what they think adulthood is,house, car, other bills. then hit a dead end cause no one told them what to do afterward.
