I am so fucking pissed off right now. The plants were so close to being done. I saw 2 kids in the woods by my plots about 3 weeks ago so I know it was them. I dropped all my stuff and acted like I was hiking and then eventually ran into them while they were smoking a bowl. The kids were dumb enough to give me there names as I smoked a bowl with them. I know some friends that know where the kids live so were gonna go give them a friendly visit. Any suggestions on how I should confront the bastards? I don't want to be violent, but I really wanna scare the shit out of them so they return what is mine.

I feel your pain, i got ripped a few times too....it really sucks....all that work and love you put into growing, and some a-hole takes the fruits of your labor...one thing i can say is don't do anything stupid, it's not worth to get hurt or go to jail for some bud...there is always next year....good luck
My buddy just went over there and said you forgot to smile while you were on camera. There faces dropped I guess and with a little threatening they gave my buddy the shit. I am so happy right now lol. My buddy is a great guy and will be rewarded with some early premature bud. I guess its better then nothing

Dude don't even be pissed that its a bit early just be happy you got your shit back! I'd say 99% of people that get ripped dont see a single gram back so be very happy! But man what kind of stupid spot were you growing in....sounds like it was really close to a hiking trail that kids are known to smoke pot in...no offence dude but the idea is to plant where NO ONE will go and I would say that espically applies to no where pot smoking kids are going to hang out...woulda kinda thought that's common sense...

^^^^^^ yea hope yer buddy scared the living daylight outta them,so they wont get funny ideas like anonymous phonecalls to leo,in the 20+ yrs I've grown I've been ripped twice,the first time I didn't had alarms,the second time so premature that it musta been moreons or kids who didn't know jack shit about pot,they stole a couple of plants at the beg. of august,where they just started budding,and I havent even gotten my alarms up,ever since that, there has been some incidents,where these lowlife rippers have run like hell.apperently they dont like loud noise or pitbulls hehe....

It's only a couple of plants so I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Just because a couple of kids were seen in the area does not make them the rippers. I think you should get any ideas of revenge out of your head because it may backfire on you.

In the future, don't smoke with anyone near your grow. You dropped your bags to avoid drawing unwanted attention to yourself and didn't have the sense to ignore a bowl and the teens (and a chat)? It might appear that getting their names worked out in your favor, and perhaps it did, but you also showed your hand there. If you're going to act like a non-grower/birdwatcher/hiker, you should go the distance and act like a non-smoker as well. You have no need to prove your Joe Cool status with random people met in the forest, and quite a few reasons to act exactly the opposite.
Just to re-state the obvious, you'll need to find a good spot next year. One that requires large amounts of hiking off trail. Otherwise, it's not so much guerilla growing as community service. Also, why not divide the plants between plots? Sure, it's more walking, but that sweat investment sure helps mitigate risks.
And invest in a backpack so you don't have to toss things every time someone walks by. I keep reading about people walking through the woods with bags and bottles. Then I think "Well, no wonder." when they complain about getting ripped.

I have been growing in the spot for 6 yrs without any site of anyone so the site was just recently compromised. My buddy and I just spent the last 4 hrs making bubble hash which he received 100 grams of. I did have a back pack thats why I dropped it. I confronted the kids and acted like I own the property and asked why they were on it. I ended up making about 200 grams of bubble hash so that will last me for awhile. Im a guy that believes in trust and clearly I will no not be doing so next growing season.
lol you're right it was another guy, he went back after being spotted 3 weeks later and his plants were still there someone took some buds but they were still there. sounded similar down to the part where you were spotted by kids and dropped your shit.
my bads. glad you got your shit back though. at the end of the day its just plants man no need to stress too much, they feel like family to me, but i got tons of seeds, ill just grow another family, a better family.
remember you gotta destroy to rebuild. if someone found your shit and ripped it, just gives you an excuse to do a better more hidden grow next time, the universe's way of telling you you were lucky this time planting in such an easy to SPOT (lol i had to do it.) and next time you should really go into those woods and spiders be damned. it was just kids, coulda been that other K word, Kops.
I here you. I have been so comfortable with the spot for 6 yrs that i felt like nothing could happen. I get so attached to my hard work that it is depressing when you see them ripped away from you. I enjoy growing way to much to get my hard work taken from me. All other growers be safe the rest of the season!
