H&G Coco questions?

New to Coco and H&G. Ive got their coco line, A &B, Multizen, dripclean, top boost and XL.
Is there a specific way to mix the nutes, I remember reading you mix the A first then let sit for a little while, then mix the B in and PH adjust then the additives. Is this correct?

Also what amount are you guys using, is 5ml per g of the base a good amount to start with. I looked at the feed program, but those always seem to recommend too much.

Hey Headees. I just got done with a grow using the majority of thier line up. I pretty much just used a tablespoon per gallon, maybe a tad more during heavy feeding. I usualy ended up feeding at around 1000-12000 ppm. Yes, you must first mix the A then the B. I guess if there mixed together before being added to water it messes some stuff up. Try adding a tablespoon per gallon (i used the bottle's cap as my measuring tool) and test your ppm and see if that works for you. Hope that helps. Peace.

You know head, I have always wondered this myself. When do I PH my mix? I generally mix everything up and then PH. Should I just do A+B then PH THEN additives? Sorry, not trying to gank your post, but I was also curious of the same thing. If that was the question you were asking.

Wick, thanks I will go with around a tablespoon per gallon and see how things go.

Dregs, I did some more reading after I started this thread and did find where H&G says you should mix A first, then add B, then PH adjust. After that add the additives, no need to PH adjust again.
Hope that helps.

ive used their entire coco lineup except the multi zen. its a decent line. i had heard of people saying to mix A, wait 5-10min, mix B, PH, then add additives. thats a big waste of time and i always mixed everything then PH'd and never had any problems. there are a couple products i would deem useless, but ill let ya figure out which ones on your own.
