sorry to dig up such an old thread, but it's on topic for me so i assumed it was better to bump this than start a new thread.
anyway, long story short, i've been gifted about 85 beans. they are the offspring of two DPS BMS females and one DPS BMS male. my buddy got the seeds back in '03 and grew out 3 seeds in '05 that ended up producing the seeds i have. the seeds are still viable as he recently popped about 10 that went outdoors, but didn't make it
his two females were two different pheno's in taste and high.
i was only in the grow room once during their grow. one female was mildly fruity smelling, while the other plant had a strong skunky/hash smell to it. they were very similar looking from what i remember, but the smells were different for sure.
and the highs, one to die for, one sucked... for real. the skunky, musky, hashy smelling plant that had a nice earthy taste to it would kick your ass and sit you down.
the other plant that tasted mildly fruity and fresh like is smelled, barely got you a sativa head high that lasted 15-20 mins. i remember my buddy having a hard time giving this stuff away...
a huge difference in the two pheno's.
anyway, who else has experience with the offspring of DPS Blue Moonshine?
What pheno's have you all experienced?
I have read of a grape pheno from the DJS version...
when i get a chance to grow these, i hope to grow out about 25 at a time, looking for some keepers, male(s)/female(s).
