where to find an authentic Hindu Kush

i was just wondering if there are any seed banks selling hindu kush anymore? a few sites say they still have them, but with all the change ups in dutch seed companies owners and the oldschool companies supposedly not having the original parents anymore, i dont know who to trust. would love to have this old school bitch in my garden for sure >)

Ive grow sensi's and its a high quality plant and clearly hasnt been crossed with anything. If i were breeding, its the one i would get. Its not a hybrid.

quickly you harvest quickly your flight bro ;)

Mazar i shariff is a famous place of charas in Hindu Kush.
Afghan or Pakistan strains like Kafiristanicans small shapes mid/low yields and quickly ones are great indoors yah and that's why that were breeds by famous guys years back in the US, NL. But the potent of these stuff is limited for me, Hindu Kush is an old hash lands and hands, many cultivators and adorers the last centuries who have breed the stuff.

I think Switzerland breeders have work the sativa kush line many years, Erdbeer etc...

Around Mazar e charif the best crops are later, for me they have sativa Kafiristan crosses with Nepal or north India, for a long time breed but pure Hindu kush as well :)

i think what most are looking for when they say hindu kush, is often the indica strain

although, i would love to grow some of the sativa from those parts, erdbeer has been a bit on my radar lately hehe, i had some mazar i shariff but only 1 out of 9 sprouted and it died after a couple days; i think this thread is focusing on the search for a good indica hindu kush though

the HK i grew from sensi outdoors in 06. All the plants were identical. rigid leaves, 6' tall, finishe in about 60 days outdoors but would be less indoors. It was clear after growing it that it was landrace and not hybrid. As with most landraces, potency was not hybrid level, although the plants were vigorous and healthy. I know that several famous breeders use this stock for hybrid development.

Rez used used Hindu Kush from Sensi seeds for his Kush crosses as he reckoned to that it remained uncrossed.

assume you mean Master Kush X Skunk (Master K being a cross between two hindu kush varieties...).

If so ... gooooood call.

rabbit

I really need to stay off this forum, after drinking too many beers!:friends:
Thanks Rabbit, I'm going to fix my post now. :bashhead:

...skunk was mentioned, i just want to mention that i did try an oaksterdam nurseries hybrid of hindu kush x skunk, they called it hindu skunk, those were some of the first plants i ever grew, they were so lovely and kushy with not too much skunk in it but just enough to give an air of that funky skunkiness to the piney kush *nom*, man i wish i kept a mom...
