Hydro and Prop,
member toohighmf claims he brought the lvpk to vegas and its really la master kush?
I never got mine too turn purple but the density is hard. only the leaves purple a little but my rooms tend to run hot. I've run it in in hydro, coco, and now dirt (foxfarm, supersoil next)
and the coco came in third, hydro second, and the dirt is kicking ass. trichomes are off the charts some nugs are all silver taste and high are winning too. used organic liquids and resinator (towards the end), bottom feeding in a kiddee pool.
sorry for rambling maybe cuz im smokin some now!

If so he has yet to state that publicly and has not to my knowledge. If he did then he is even better to this community than I already thought he was.

I have no idea about LA Master Kush. I've worked with the LVPK for 8 years so if LA is older anything could be possible; however there have been lots and lots of PK threads and LA Master Kush has not been mentioned to my knowledge.

:joint:

PS. The purpeling is from the inside out. If you take photos you'll see the purple hue, but if you bust a dry nug look at it from the underside and you see the purple in the calyxis. Temps, nutes, and length of flower contribute to the amount of purple.

PPS. The LVPK is very mold resistant to my understanding, mold has never been an issue with her for me.

Heres the qoute from toohighmf's new thread:
"LVPK is just good LA master! I know I brought it out there. That and what it called the LVOG.. which is just SFV OG. but people call it the Louis Vitton OG..
I won me an LV Kush Cup or 2.. whatever..."

Too bad the date of "bringing it out isn't there" Also, if so why didn't he share it with the community back then or now? Especially if it was winning cups or two.

lol the Louis Vitton OG......some of these strain names are ridiculous....ive definately seen SFV OG relabeled as some funny names, like Milky Way OG, triple super duper platinum OG....

I have to agree, the names are a riot.

If I ever made a strain I would call it dope... That has probably already been done. If you ever raised papered horses or dogs you find it gets really hard to come up with a name. You see some pretty crazy names at the horse race track or breeder's names for their dogs. I am about to have a new papered dog (planning stages actually). I think I will call him Sir Bone Head.

more pics from today....did a shitload more undergrowth pruning today...wish i got on this earlier because it sucks dropping lower branches that look like they might yeild decent weight....alot of branches pointed south that are in the dirt lol, gotta cut everything out....live and learn next year gonna prune them all when they are much smaller and more manageable..

LA con in forground, smallest in garden probably only 1lb each

picture.php

SFVOG in front left, mix of Cherry Pie and SFV in background...SFV has really nice structures outside way more nodes and branches really easy to train...

picture.php

picture.php

LVPK on left and SFV OG on right so you can compare the two...lvpk already looks a few weeks into flowering...SFV still lagging

picture.php

LVPK around six feet including the base...

everything is looking nice and green they seem to like the earthjuice alot, the couple gallons of fox farms grow big they devoured in veg/preflower might have helped too......our water comes out tap at like 7.5 to 8 ph and the EJ balances it out nicely to the proper PH...we feed every watering but 1/3 waterings have higher PPM...2 waterings are just lightly fertilized with EJ to balance PH...

Damn! I wish I had a couple of thouse plants like that!

I must say its great for you to be in a region where you dont really have to worry about getting mold. Where are you going to dry and trim the plants?

we have an outbuilding thats about 15x20...and another spare room thats around 8x8....gonna hang dry with dehueys and fans...everything will be trimmed up in the trailer. fingers crossed about the mold part though! never know when a late season rain storm will hit and fuck everything up!

It must be so hectic in those parts when you get to drying. I would have trouble sleeping with big monsters like that for all the months required to finish. Too much money to rest normal. I said something like that in Butte's thread. I use to dream of growing monsters like that but I don't think I have the stomach for it any more.

You know I seen what you and others said about Blue Dream. Yesterday my son gave me a nugget of it so I guess I can sort of see for myself. I wish I hadn't read all of what you guys said about it. I am going into the smoke-out with prejudice. I learn a lot from this site, not all of it good.

^hey if its good blue dream you should love it and it should stink the whole room up like you lit an incense candle..

but YESSSSSSSSS....ive been in a monthlong bidding war over a new property for outdoor 2012 with a fat acre clearing for 50+ 200 gal smartpots, perfect water delivery system, drying sheds already installed.......finally got the message today that the other bidders cant match my latest offer.....dont wanna crack the champagne bottle just yet but looks like i might finally get the hell out of this cramped .5 acre trailer grow and get into something with more breathing room!!!

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Yes4Prop215 again.

today i flew with my pops over the current trailer grow in this thread....wow we should have done way more and filled up all possible space....the grow is extremely hard to see from the air because of all the neighbors, we flew over 3 times and i could only spot it once, and i could barely count out the pots....plus some of our neighbors have much bigger and more visible grows...

i also flew over the new spot and all of our neighbors are already growing pretty massive gardens...all 40-50 plants and very visible, in one area i saw at least four 50 plant gardens all neighbors of eachother....not a big surprise since the new property was already used to grow in the past....my pops joked about "competition" but im not worried about it lol, i feel safer knowing that there are other larger players out here i might even push 40 in the new spot instead of the planned 25....i did a quick google search of previous raids in the area and didnt find much, only a few that were on public lands and consisted of thousands of plants....

also a few notes on aerial views of grows in case yall are interested...the big smartpot gardens are extremely easy to spot from the air. the first thing that gives them away is the fenced compounds they are always housed in. what also makes them so visible is how they are spaced out so you can see each individual round bush...i know its better to space out your smartpots so you get maximum light, however if the smartpots are all placed close together (kind of like my grow) its very hard to count the individual plants from the air it just looks like a big bush or thicket.....there are LOTS of other plants out there that look like weed but arent, mostly legit orchards like baby apple trees, overgrown single stalk vineyards, etc.....

the most common thing i see from the air are vineyards....if you grew rows of 45 gallon, 5-6 foot tall but slender plants, in neat and even rows, it would be much harder to spot. many people have neglected untrimmed vineyards that are bushy and resemble marijuana plants.....i would only recomend the vineyard style if you grow in an area that is already full of vineyards like sonoma and lake counties...mountain growing would be a little harder...i would space the fence out as far as possible and use something as natural as possible, not bright red wooden fences. maybe chain link and then grow vine plants into the fence itself to camo it...then do the plants in as neat rows as possible with spacing between the rows but not between the plants. also between the rows i would put down a layer of grass everywhere, it helps blend the color of the plants against the ground. having the smartpots on top of brown ground is just so easy to see.....ok end of rambling lol
