I find it VERY hard to believe your brother nears anywhere close to 10,000 calories a day! and stay slim with ZERO exercise

Most professional bodybuilders don't even eat 10,000 calories a day and they have the highest metabolism of anyone
I agree with the original poster. I can eat all day everyday, and it doesn't matter how much or what it is I can't gain weight to save my life.

I can eat fast food, drink beer, and sit on my skinny ass all day, everyday, and you won't see me put on more than a few pounds. Believe me I have been on high calorie diets and it did nothing for me.

Everyone has different types of bodies. A body builder may eat a high calorie diet and gain tons of body mass, but if I do try it won't happen at all. Believe me when I was younger I got tied of the tall, long, skinny jokes and tried to put on weight and bulk up but it just wouldn't happen.

i am the same.

superhigh metabolism. closing on 35 now.

lost alot of weight when i got malaria once.

ate 7-8 eggs a day, plus bacon (and some other shit) for 2 months, that got me quite abit back of the weight.

but by then ive been fed up with eggs more or less :D and a shitload of eggs everyday is the only thing thats managed to put any weight on me (didnt add much fat, if any)

shitload of eggs and bacon every day lol.

that along with some swimming and walking up a mountain a few times, made me feel better than i had in years :) but im still underweight.

wife´s not happy about it, comes from a culture where a bit of fat is considered goodlooking lol, afraid she´s bit too good of a cook and willing for me to tell her i probably wont get fat at all :)

Metabolism is only part of the equation. There's 3,500 calories to a pound. Where those calories come from depends on your source of food. If you eat crap all day then those are empty calories(i.e no real nutritional value, vitamins and minerals, protein,EFA's etc)Your body burns carbs and proteins more quickly then it can oxidize fat. Therefore anyone consuming "10,000 " calories a day would gain weight in one form or another. The claim about bodybuilders is absolutely true, they often dont even eat 10k calories per day, even during the off seaon/bulking phase. And those that do end up being fat and bloated and just trim down for competition. It's literally an all day event for those guys on ultra high calorie diet, they get up in the middle of the night just to eat or fire down a shake. Insane

have you actually counted your kalorie intake? because most ppl totally over-/underrate it.

its a very common thing with skinny ppl that they claim they cannot gain weight. usually they totally overestimate their kalorie intake. same thing with fat ppl just the other way around. i bet if you actually counted your daily kalorie intake you would be surprised how few it actually is.

try going GOMAD (drink gallon of full fat milk a day) on top of your usual diet. you WILL gain weight. its impossible to eat 10.000kcal a day and not gain weight, like another poster here claimed. this has nothing to do with body types its just simple biology. if you eat more calories than you burn you will gain weight, simple as that.

I would have thought it was pretty obvious what caused obesity...and smoking pot ain't going to prevent it.

How about diet and exercise.
