I paid 3 bikers a couple cases of beer to tune up some jackass that tried to shake me down. I used a middleman to set up a trade for an Ohaus triple beam he had, and when he showed up the bikers beat the stupid out of him while I lifted his triple beam. He got the message and moved outta town. And once word of that got out, people went out of their way to stay on my good side.

That is the problem, you are all engaged in a possibly illegal operation. Hell, nobody on the planet is completely clean and there are even a lot of cops in jails. But the point is, you are scrwed when you partner up with the wrong people. It seems impossible to do it all yourself, but in any business you are better off without a partner. The same shit happens if you are in a legitimate business. People screw each other over because of greed. Having a spouse or girl friend can be a problem.

Here you have people killing each other and going to jail for a little bit of money. But since it is a criminal enterprise your street cred drops if you don't react and others on the street see you as an easy mark.

Hope your all smoking something great today whatever strain it may be.
Being a broker/grower for the past five years has been awesome. Cant imagine doing anything else. Of course there was a point in my life where I was struggling and thought id never find my true calling. I guess everyone goes through that phase. I just remember working in offices and warehouse's and restaurants and thinking there has go to be something better than this lol. I had like 150 different payroll jobs before I moved to Cali and was introduced to growing by this chic I met on craigslist.
So anyway being a broker or grower makes you a target for two things,,police and rip off con artist people. I mean you are exposed to so many type of people in this industry especially in California. Its really expansive and out here it takes a long time to get a trusted small circle of people that you hang with or even deal with or talk to. Your dealing with bipolar growroom builders lol your dealing with youngsters looking to get their start , your dealing with psycho girlfriends, 6 ft 4 black guys and your ordinary white boys like me. My favourite aspect is the hot trimmers : ) and the men with briefcases lol

Anyway I just had a trusted employee run off with a 9 pd indoor harvest. I was very trusting with this guy , I trusted him with doing business and like you would trust a family member. I bought him a car to help him out , he did deliverys for me to make extra loot blah blah.
So growing 9 pds indoor takes a lot of effort and im feeling a big loss here , owe people money , could use the money but its gone now oh well......What would youguys do in this situation? I know where he lives who he hangs with etc...
I know its a tough question but im truly baffled why people take advantage like this when half the harvest was his anyway..

i usually feel worse about the betrayal than loosing the cash ,,
but due to the sort of work we do ,
its expected that it can , and likely will happen at some point ..
again given the kinda work ,
its best to just keep moving along ,
and try to recoup the losses by working a little harder/wiser ,

As an alternative, if you do decide to eat the loss I might think it best if you were the one to relocate. If growing and selling are going to be your thing after this maybe a fresh start is in order. If you want to grow big then you need to go under the radar, then pop up when there is business to be done... and disappear.
In order to do that you are going to have to have a fair amount of resources to get a big place all on your own.
Call the cops from an anonymous caller and say you smell weed coming from dudes house.
