Welcome to icmag JKD :)

We are preparing a new order to icmag, adding a few malawi fem packs (this time will be the last ones) anyway more malawi standard stock should be ready around early '12. Thanks for your interest!

Question...should I wait for these Malawi or get the Golden Tiger now?

I'm looking for something that will fuck me up...rip my head off! But I'd like stable genetics too...something where the F2s will be like the original. Is the Malawi stronger than the GT? Is it more stable?

Thanks!

Hello yourcorpse,

We are working on the standard reproduction right now outdoors, can not speak about numbers till harvest the seeds, but the plan is to produce as many as possible and re stock early 2012 ... as we say in spain 'never sell the bear's skin till you hunt it', dont like to hunt animals but hope you get the meaning ;)

Thanks for your interest!

dubi, will there be a large amount of standard m/f packs sent in?

High joeuser,

Pure malawi is more stable for sure, Golden Tiger is a F1 hybrid and will react like an F2 in the next generation, anyway it´s a great hybrid for inbreeding or outcrosses, hard to find a plant that is not powerful or interesting but of course if you dig a bit there are some special winners.

I'd also recommend you panama, tikal or nepalese jam, they are our most stabilized sativa hybrids right now, very desirable for breeding projects. Hope it helps.

Couldn't wait for the Malawi to come out again...so I grabbed some Golden Tiger. If it goes well...count me in for some when it's ready!

I recently bought a 5 pack of Malawi fems from seedboutique. Malawi fems from seed often sprout with some interesting mutations- remindes me of grape crush by DJ short from seed. My best Malawi fem was cosiderably more vigorous than her sisters! I gave her all my loving a perfect enviorment fit for a princess and a prime spot in my flowering room after taking clones I killed her inferior siblings keeping just one Malawi fem behind in veg because all her nodes had three branches also called a whorled phollaxy. Thankfully I kept 1 sibling because, my vigorous queen was actually 100% Male fortunatly I found him before he screwed all my lovely ladies he was getting ready to drop pollen after only flowering for 12 days. I thought buy paying extra for fem seeds there would be no extra stress regarding males? From what I have read most whorled phollaxy's turn out to be males? I hope she is the exception! I look forward to trying malawi being a sativa conniseur.

oregon,

I had a male in a pack of LSD once. I hear "feminized" is "almost always" female...but not quite a "sure thing". Why not use it to make some F2s? A little pollen on the tip of 1 branch is good for quite a few seeds.

I've heard too that the "tri-noded" are usually males though I once had a NL that was all woman! Again...what's "certain" in nature...right?

Good luck with the Malawi...give us a report when it's done. Malawi is on my short list!

Aye, I would think that finding a male in a pack of fem malawi is in fact a treasure.

One of my golden tiger has tri-nodes and also is a female.

yeah im definatly going to cross my super vigorous malawi male with a original haze female that was far better than her siblings. With equatorial sativas every plant has their own personality.

Welcome oregon,

Honestly, we have not find any male in our malawi fem seeds, but sometimes happens ... some lines are difficult to breed 100 % fem but this should not be the case. Please send me pm or an email to:

Not trying to speak for dubi, but I did ask him something very recently about the Malawi Fems and he said they were currently working on getting the reg. stock of the Malawi ready for SB shortly. Hopefully he'll stop in soon. Maybe 1 day we can convince them to bring the Malawi Fems back out further down the road ;). Take care 1

P.S. Its also Malawi not Malawi Gold that Ace sells. The MG is from another vendor not on this site. Hope that clears a few things up for you maybe.

I can't wait for the reg malawi seeds :)

It seems a malawi male would be a great addition to any breeding program.....Perfect for taming the most wild landrace females that are challenging indoors bc of flowering times/stretch/sensitivity.....

I saw in the malawi fem description on seedbou a mention of afropips malawi gold being involved in this project. ???

hola dubi-

Looking forward to the regular stock of your Malawi. I've got some feminized Laughing Buddha that I'd like to pollinate with a nice malawi male, and see what comes out the other end. :)

Do you know if you will be providing The Attitude with your regular Malawi nuts?

gracias amigo
