i mean, ok, i get they're usually on the low to pretty decent on yield side. light feeders i've heard from different people and different opinions and suggestions...

is there any consensus? i've grown 'sensitive' blueberries, and i'm keeping my chem a little lower than the rest and it's seeming to grow better that way (until it's root infestation, it's shit now).

i mean, it's a relative term, yeah? cannabis -> weed, forgiving and usually needing proper ratio nutes and pH.

so a finicky one, is it past certain strains needing a lil more Mg or something?

just curious.

i'll be veggin these for 2-3 weeks then lettin them fly in hydro.

i've checked out grow reports, but i'm curious if there's a common consensus on 'finicky kush' characteristics.

My Sour D IBL's get all claw leafed just by getting transplanted into fresh organic soil mix, no addition fertilization to make them ugly. That's what I call finicky especially when every other strain is the garden does just fine with the soil mix.

for me cuts of certin ogz take longer to clone, fininky during tranplant, everyone is different. but ill tell you this if you find the right pheno of certin ogz there the bomb youll never get rid of them, they have to be ran perfect in order to get prime og.

i've got a tahoe that still has 5 weeks left, and it's got a few golfball, dense nugs on her dozen stems. lst paid off on that one. i think she has a slight mag deficiency. took her 4 weeks to indicate tho.

although mag is easy to selectively feed, i wonder if specific nutrient quirks would mean a well dialed in organic system would be king yielder. not in terms of veg speed of course (i dwc, and it was nice n quick) but proper mixing with a shit ton of completely organic building blocks, should intuitively take care of any finicky nutrient requirements?

i wonder if something like pro-mix or canna with hydro in veg, switched to a completely organic flower regimen, would be worthwhile...

hmm...

og is a bitch and a half to clone, in my experience, my chemdog ibl pheno's all root by 7 days while my og kush clones take 2-3 weeks to root, i also lose them a lot, with other strains i get almost 100% survivul rate but with og i get between 33% and 66% surviving...

my ogkush is an s1 from sfv cut, and the pheno i have is nearly indistinguishable from the original. it may prefer less nutrients than a normal strain, though as of right now they are getting the same full strength ferts as everything else and seem to be doing just fine, but last run(my first with og) i never exceeded half strength nutes all through budding, and 90% of the time they got 1/4 strength or plain water, and were dark green and shiny all the way till flush. they were very healthy and yeilded as much as can be expected from this strain, wich isn't much, lol it is a lowish yeilder, though we will see if i can improve on that with this run, they are spaced 5 inches apart in a bed setup, flowered the day they went into the bed.

All ogs are good yielders and easy rooters if they are healthy I get 1.75 to 2 pounds per light on all the ogs with a 3 week veg.
