do you prefer to roll and smoke joints/spliffs with or without crutches?


i prefer to roll joints without crutches. i just don't really see the necessity of a crutch. most ppl i smoke with however seem to like a crutch in the joint.

I dont know, what is a crutch in a joint.
normali i just mix a bit of tobako and a bit of weed, then roll it all tight and nice, a roach in the end and im good to go

A crutch? I have no idea what that is. The only thing I can think of is a filter -- is that what you mean?

So, to answer the question -- I always use a filter. You get a better draw and therefore get better tokes -- you'll waste less and get higher overall. Having said that, I almost never smoke joints -- last time I did regularly was over 20 years ago. I like one-hitters (bats) or other small pipes instead.

I like to use crutches/filters/cartuletas/tips for a better draw, especially if i've added drysift/kief to the roll.

Using a crutch (filter tip), is the only way to roll. The tip allows for better hits, and most importantly in my mind, it allows you to smoke everything you rolled without leaving a roach. puff puff DLB

i think thats where we need to start: wtf is a "crutch" exactly? either its something you came up with or its secular to your enviornment.

lotta ppl dont realize how many ppl are on here and from how many other states/continents.

i've been on here for years and you have no clue how many times (like an ass) i googled "wally world" only to find out (and very recently might i add) that ppl were referring to walmart.

O yes I call em roaches they are defiantly needed in any blunt or joint.

FRIENDinDEED, a crutch is a stint - rolled up piece of cardboard/ heavy paper. It's tamped into the end of a spliff like Brother Bear's example above. The end doesn't collapse and you get an easier toke.

I always use them. They prevent little bits of weed from flying down into my throat so it's the only way i roll joints anymore

no / i roll really big joints. no problems getting a propper hit. no need for a crutch. my friend uses em . he uses matchbooks to make em.

When I first read it I was thinking a crutch was like two little pieces of paper that form like a tripod so you can place the joint down and it doesn't burn the table and keeps going. Like the 2 leg things on a heavy machine gun.

i like 'em. good if you're passin' it around, the end doesn't get squished by some drooler. you can burn it right down, no roaches (which does suck if you keep a roach motel).
