hey everyone!

i need your recommendation on some good growroom speakers.

been pulling some long shifts in my current 10kw jungle. big trees, cages, no room to move....and i keep getting my goddamn headphones snagged on every plant i crawl under/past/through/around. so i am thinking, i need some nice, loud speakers that will cut through an ac unit a bunch of fans and a few hundred square feet of ganja foliage.

any recommendations? my brother thinks i should get an opera singer to live in there, cuz they are super loud AND generate CO2....but i cant afford one, and dont speak much italian so...

I just blew my mind. Okay we know that flowers are what they are now because of humans. That's fact. We spread them, and they actually evolved to be more to our liking. This holds true for cannabis as well. It's almost a symbiotic relationship.
Now, what if you did some grows with different music and compared the results? Try metal, rap, classical, etc and see which smokes best. Also, after a few generations, they may be dispositioned to that specific music. Idk just a thought.

GanjaPharma;4666473 @Jrace damn those are some low priced speakers! you make a good point about all the rattle and hum in the room said:
They should be plenty loud enough, depends though on your room size and distance to the speakers.

You will need an amplifier to drive them, either a seperate pre-amp + amp, or integrated amp, or receiver. I would be worried about having those in the grow room, so you could have a 3.5mm -> RCA adapter (also found at monoprice) running from inside the grow room to the amp outside the grow room. This way the only time the source is in the grow room is when you are.

Hate to be a wet blanket, but I want to hear if someone's knocking at my front door.

I'd be worried about the loud music attracting attention

i agree with both of you...

you can add a monitor to your grow room with some outdoor weatherproof black and white, night vision camera's with audio for pretty cheap...

check out harbor freight. definitely on my want list :D

Brian: First of all, to understand what happened to Killer, you gotta understand who Killer the dog WAS.

Now Killer was born to a three-legged bitch mother. And he was always ashamed of this, man.

And then right after that, he's adopted by this man, Tito Liebowitz. He's a small-time gunrunner and, uh, rottweiler fight promoter.

So he puts Killer into training, next thing you know Killer's GOOD! He is DAMN good! But then, he had the fight of his life. They pit him against his brother Nibbles.

And Killer said, "No, man, that's my brother, I can't fight Nibbles!" And he made him fight anyway. And then Killer, Killed Nibbles.

And Killer said, "That's it!" And he called off all his fights, and he started doing crack, and he ffffffff-FREAKED OUT. And then in a rage, he collapsed, and his heart... no longer beat. Wow.

Thurgood Jenkins : You know, I never thought I'd say this, but you have been smoking entirely too much reefa.

shouldnt matter if someone is knocking, if its the police you dont answer that shit anyway, and if its someone else they should have fucking called first lol....i got a crappy boombox for my growroom, just make sure its not loud enough for any neighbors to complain.
