Rain for the next week

Been raining continuously since about noon yesterday here, and is expected to do so for the next 3-4 days. With temps dipping down into the 50s at night, will this delay flowering?

Yes, but the bigger problem in my mind is mold if the plants are a week to 2 weeks away from finish that’s when you need to start thinking about mold. On the other hand if your growing a Oct 7th-15th finisher its probably just hitting full flower so a little rain probably no big problem flowering plants love moisture. Just my opinion but a 3-4 day slow down in flowering isn’t a going to make or break you as far as finish times go. That all goes out the window if we are talking mold.

Sucks here too. Same weather. Been downright chilly, cloudy, and rainy all day. I have moved mine in my garage. The only light source I have there is a floro shop light, an overhead CFL and one of those dual head super bright halogen work lights. I'm just making sure to keep to the sunrise/sunset tables for this area. I hope it doesn't hinder things too much. Looking forward to the sunshine again. :comfort:

I am worried about getting some mold on 3 plants. I will be checking on them later today, and buying some serenade to help prevent it

I have 2 plants that are about 2 weeks from flower and already fattening up. I am nervous that they might mold like crazy.. The rest of my plants arent showing any fat colas yet so those should be fine.

This goddamn rain needs to go the eff away

Should I put a fan on my plant to help prevent mold? I have never had to deal with it so I don't know of any other preventative measures other than not getting the bud sites wet.

keep your eyes peeled for yellowing/browning that is "out of place" or not consistent with normal yellowing. You'll see a sugar leaf suddenly die in the middle of a bud rather than towards the bottom of the plant - if you see that, pull open the bud and look for botrytis. Wherever you see it consider harvesting the whole bud for hash, or cut away the infected part and a good amount of healthy material around it.

Once a plant shows signs of botrytis it needs DAILY inspection.

yes, more light and more airflow are the enemy of mold BUT - if you increase airflow around an infected plant you are helping spread the spores.

Rained here all weekend and heavy, mostly finished now, but going to be cool for a few days. Glad my girls don't finish until the end of October +. Good luck everyone.

After a dry and hot August, September is starting out real wet and cool.
I'm also in the mid-late Oct time frame, so there's still hope.

Yes...Rain need seriously go away. I'm really worrying about my plants in marsh.

I'm using 25 gallons smart pot. The plants are about 10 feet or so. I checked it 2 weeks ago, I already can see yellowing (some dead brown leaves) all over the place bottom and top of my plants. It was starting to bud. The water raised up to 6 inches up the smart pot.

Since I last checked my plants, it rained about 2 inches a week. I'm sure the water in the marsh is getting higher and higher. I don't know what to do....it's a big plants and I would hate to get molds on them.

Edit: Stains I'm growing; sweet tooth, critical + and bluebonic x guerilla gold.

I'm worrying especially my BBxGG

I guess im the odd man out. Im about 30 days from harvest and im happy as hell its raining. I was having to start to carrry water and now we have 2" of rain!
Halla fukinlueha.

I have a couple of strains/plants 10 days from harvest but they wont mould i dont think. Over the years Ive latched on to a dozen strains or so that dont mould easily. Mould can destroy a good crop after youve worked all season to grow it so i steer a wide path around fat dense buds and I grow christmas trees, not bushes.

Im also tickled to death with the unusual cool. Its hard on blight which likes 85-90degrees with matching humidity.

I grew this strain last year its by krk at UDG and it finished last week of September with huge buds and excellent structure almost rebar stems. It was very mold resistant the only mold I had was when a branch broke (not very often) and laid on the ground. I think you will be pleased with the bag appeal good luck like to know how it turns out.

I was just in 2ft of floodin water trying to save some girls!!! FUCK and higher ground is a long ways away!! I need some help!!! ASAP

Are they in pots? You can always find some old car tires and rims and make a floating platform. Make sure to tie it off so it doesn't float away.

I did this one year when our local creek flooded. Worked pretty good, but teeters to much for me!
