wheeew hooo a lot more progress and pictures coming soon! I have 6 wappa clones and 6 slh clones rooted and ready to go. I should have it fired up this weekend
Ok gots to get some pics up, only 4 days in and already have to do some adjustments to make. The tubes need to covered in aluminum tape and I dont have very good access to the res tank so I will be doing a remote system like "Heath". Other than that the plantlets are responding well so we shall see how it goes.
Hey vanguard, yeah man wrapping those pipes is manditory. Last thing we need is a build up of nasty's n' other unwanted shit on roots and in our nutes. I'm gonna be using poly (panda) paper with tape to seal the tight areas. lol...WELL exceeded my budget so thats how its going down. Looking forward to seeing your box full of nugs bro.
Hey guys, I am in week 2 of 12/12. I made the changes i wanted to make and everything is on track! I do have one problem though my slh is clawing at the top and need some advice on getting it sorted out. I have grown her in soil but never encounted this please help....
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ok so the SLH may not have been a great choice for this cab design hee hee but I am going to grow them out. But those Wappa are looking fantastic for 15 days!
Ok in week 3 now and all i can say is "oh crap" I go to check on them last night and I have water pouring out the tubes. So i investigate and come to find out the roots are causing the water to back up! I pulled the dams out and it seems to help but if I am only in week 3 what the heck are they going to look like in week 6? Can i prune roots in hydro?
As long the roots can be taken out of the system you can prune it.
Dont go to much attack on the roots though, it may stun the plant for some time!
If its to filtered ( i tried that ) then try mounting a adjutable valve on the waterfeeding hose.
When set in the right flowrate, water can make it trough the dense roots in time before new water comes form the valve!
You will need to aply enzymes in the water that can handle the dead roots that will end up drying out cause of the decreased flow inside the tubes.
