Alternative PH Down

Milk stone remover is strong too. I dropped the PH in a 5 gallon solution from 6.5 down to 4.3 with 2 ml. That was 5 gallons of R.O. water so it had almost no buffer to it.

I don't know what milkstone remover is...but couldn't you dilute it down with distilled water like I do with sulfuric?

SOTF some guys will do anything to get their Grapefruit tasting weed lol. I also approve of citric acid from a ubrew, but admit I use my nutes as I mix them. No waiting in a res. Peace GS

Does phosphoric acid have a shelf life? I have 1/2 a bottle of pH down made with phos about 3 years old, can I use that up or should I just buy something new?

Lowman milkstone remover is phosphoric acid, and yes you can dilute it if you chose too. I just use it by the drop instead of by ml.

Wisco61 I don't believe it does have a shelf life, but you can always test it before you use it. It's real cheap at $15 gallon if you chose not to use the old stuff.
