Its a shame for all the mold damage but you know every year is a different story outdoor. Maybe you can concentrate on autos for early harvests and less mold-prone sativas for late season / greenhouse?

is going real fast compared to the tw cross, it began flowering later.

I like this one best as the structure is open , not many leaves and the internodes are not too tight

the amnesia smell is there and i have to wait a bit more to see what pheno of mm is dominant in this pheno , i think it is the rotten one as that one starts out vanilla like and end up smelling like a dead animal

buds look like TW(the silvery texture and lot of seedpods) but up to now smell a lot like GG

should i remove a few leaves whose stem touch the buds? I dunno , really looks like it could cause mold


We have constant 60-80% RH here lately

from the looks of it the TW cross just looks susceptible to mold , but only time will tell

On the tw x mm I would take some leaves out, simply to have more ventilation, and maybe hit them with some fans, that could help with the mold but it's not a good sign to get it this early.

you should remove some leaves for sure, but more those big leaves in later flowering to allow better airflow, for me the mold begins later in 5th or 6th week of lowering... and put there some fans like rude dog said... i cant imagine growing dense buds without fan in my greenhouse...

she,s got a nice open strukture.
i think its a must in these wet climates.
in my opinion the later flowering genetics are in advance this year.
just cut a royaldane today,she was molding away.

yeah it is incredible RH of 80-90% all the time at night even higher

i have a fan there , i blow air in , but today i am gonna test the RH if i put a dehumidifier there and an electric heater.

If it brings the RH down enough i'll install a butane heater cuz it is cheaper and then the dehimidifier. Cuz if it keeps going like this mold will be a serious ^problem , it has been years since we had such a shitty warmer season(i dont call it summer)

yeah was thinking same thing, 2 more weeks and 'll start systematically removing leaves from the TW cross

in my opinion the later flowering genetics are in advance this year.

yep totally true this year we have had 18-25 degrees and almsot all the time 80-90% RH , it ,is mold paradise this year


On a negative side note :

Went to my buddy's place , he has had to harvest 2 manitoba medicine with still 3 weeks to go.

Mold mold moldand again mold


there is another mm that will have to come down this week , also with 2 weeks to go.


And i will remove and throw away my SPG cross. The one at home is going fine


the one at my buddy's which still has to go till the end of september , is full of moldy spots

I am gonna tell my buddy to bury it so the spores wont affect the other plants , but he prolly will just throw it on the compost heap

So that is a bummer cuz i was counting on half a pound to 3/4 pound from that one


smells are what i was looking for , a dead animal stinky smell with the spg smell mixed through , absolutely dank and already very vey frost even the stems of the fan leaves have trichs



But we have had the wettest summer since 1860 here with 68 days of pouring rain , it is the first time in all my experience with manitoba medicine that i was not able to harvest her due to mold

Ouch it would be such a shame to see those trees in the greenhouse rot.

If the high humidity comes from the evaporation from that enormous leafmass then there might not be much you could do except add more dehumidifier power (and on nights where outdoor humidity isn't too bad instead turn off everything except for fans and open the doors instead)

Evaporation from the ground could be kept to a minimum by covering all of the soil with plastic - but I think I remember seeing that you already did that?

How much does the temperature drop at night? If it still drops a lot even with the added heating then perhaps you should cover the greenhouse with a blanket.

How much water does your dehumidifier collect in one night?

Well during the day it is 20-35 degrees celsius and at night with the heater on 18 degrees and 74-85% RH


Yesterday was dry soi wanted to test the RH with everything open and 1000kubic meters of air being blown in, but the RH rose to 97% by 20.00 o clock


so i turned on the heater and dehuey again , i guess 75-85% is better then 97-99% right


As for covering the GH : i also do this every day to protect the plants from light pollution

In the future i'll buy a heavy duty dehuey for the greenhouse

the buds in the front facing the sunny side are almost double of the nugs that are more on the left even for the ones that are more or less the same heigt
