Ran into an old high school friend I used to smoke with occasionally back in the day. After some polite chit chat he says damn you reek man. I had literally just burned one. He says you still burn? I said you don't? He says no I grew up.

Strange how there is this fine line between those people that like to party when their young, and those that accept cannabis as not just fleeting hobby, but as a lifestyle.

I felt like I was being judged, but I will sleep fine tonight.

I'm sure he drinks like a fish or takes prescription meds though. Sounds like your friend is an idiot. What does growing up have to do with using cannabis as medicine? Lose his number dude. If you get lonely you can find people here that live in your area.

lol iv heard that before anyone who says something dumb like that i give them a puzzled look i was recently at a party and this chick was 28 saying i dont smoke the pot i just died laughing...

Of medicinal and acceptable use of Cannabis & Hemp. And all of a sudden (last 50 years or so). THE GOOD OLE USA has put it in the category that it is in.

"A PLANT" that my ancestors used to make their clothing from AND smoke SO THAT THEY COULD "MAKE PEACE".

I hate asshats that look down on marijuana use..

They're usually the same righteous cocksmokers that go home every nite drink a 40ounce and beat their wife and kids up. Or they so messed up on prescription pills the pharmaceutical giants are their PIMPS for life.

So tell me...what do you do? Are you "successful"? Everyone changes...but some things you enjoy enough to keep...or in my case...you go back to. As long as you're self sufficient and don't rely on welfare...you've grown up. If you're a leech...he was right.

In many ways...I've never grown up...it's cool with me.

Alot of people start smoking cigs in highschool, i guess if they never stop they havent grown up either.

Just doesnt make sense to me.

I've heard this too. It's a way to make this guy feel better about himself. Very typical in this time that people like to look down at people to make themselves feel like they are higher up. But, like most feelings, they are not really real in reality and if followed without thought end up making you look foolish.

How about making him feel at ease by laughing or making some lighthearted comment that doesnt make him feel like he's being judged.

Its called being a kind human being.. unfortunately this is lost on most except the more sensitive understanding souls
