I knew someone waaaaay up north in CA who would make something similar to that. He called it meteor dust, plasma powder or something like that.
It was basically a dried plant that was put into a collection bag and lightly agitated by shaking it around. The result was quite a bit of resin glands (mostly unbroken) along with enough hairs and small plant pieces to be able to properly roll al joint with it. One of the best cannabis products I've ever had.
Is this similar to that? Info please!

thats dust from the bottom of a 5 gal baggy after a 4 month cure, just slightly crude sifted through a 150µ steel mash
if you got the possibility, catch those fallen off trics with a foil when drying, no matter if dry rack or hung up, especially if you do very slow drying procedures

sounds like some yummy full ripe trichome heads are being gathered......mmmhhhmmm......time for some fmcd SDxCJ 73u in my dragon....couldn't resist after all this talk of resin gland heads.....ahhh yes, straight to the head and eyes.

The process I saw left the large branches that were being shaken pretty much unscathed. It was when the branches were pulled off lines and the buds were being clipped off & put into bags that he was doing the shaking. The impression I got was that he was just tying to collect what would naturally be falling off during the handling process. He shook veeery gently.

Yeah, that's pretty common for commercial bud, but this process is much less destructive to the original meds.
