Thrip shiet

I have a plant with lots of thrip crap on the lower buds, little black specks. Should I toss it or smoke it. I do not do hash other than screened kief, so no bubble or that. If I screen it I expect to get the crap too, won't know till I try it tho.

I guess it is ok to smoke eh?

I wouldn't toss it man. Is the plant finished and drying or is it still growing? If it's still growing and you want to get rid of thrips then check this stuff out, http://www.greners.com/monterey-garden-insect-spray.html If it's already done and trimmed and you want to make just straight hash then I would gently wash the plant off with lukewarm water then chop it all up and make Isopropyl hash. Plus, do you have pictures of what your talking about, exactly how bad does it look?

Yea it is done and drying. If I make alcohol hash does that get rid of the impurities?

If you do the iso hash method correctly then there shouldn't be any impurities, at least no impurities bigger than what would fit through a coffee filter. Do some searches for iso hash and you should find some really good threads. Read them and it will make sense.
