Hey guys had a quick qustion I looked all around the forums and couldn't find the answer....for some reason my deathstar girls keep poping out one leaf sets during mid veg and cant figure out why??? But once they go into flowering they go back to normal and there fine.a buddy told me that it could be from it being cloned over and over and with deathstar being a clone only strain it kind of makes sense but i wasn't sure so wanted to see if anyone hear could help. Any info would be great thanks..

clone only strains stay that way because theres no seed available ppl grow from clone for yrs thats how these clone only strains stay around. sound to me like you could have a slight light leak
i have a strawberry desiel pheno i keep in clone form she'll do the same in veg if she has any light leaks during darkness

see now ya didnt specify 24 hr lighting
personally i wouldnt veg 24 hr i like sleep so do my plants 18/6 is the veg cycle i prefer. maybe try the strain on 20 on 4 off or 18/6 lighting
so i wouldnt know whats causing your problem could be just the strain because it streightens out during flower
true light leak on 24 hr lighting lol . but really i have a cross i've kept in clone form.

the strawberry desiel pheno i have will wig out some if she gets light leaks of any kind during veg. same with in flower she'll throw a nanner, so she is placed in back of my garden and i dont worry.
i dont believe in cloned out it just dosent work that way least not in our life times, the original OG Kush wouldnt have been kept for soooo many yrs by a few before it was released to the public. same gose for any other eliete clone only how bout pre98 bubba kush, pre91 chemdog or chem4 just to name a few. i believe in proper care of mother plants few times a yr 1 or 2 cuts stand out from the rest and i may make them into new mothers to gift to very close friends.
so my question to the original poster
is your clones from your mother plant or some1 elses.
or are your just taken few cuts from plants before flower
it's quite possible 24 hrs lighting for this strain is whats stressn it out. again i suggest 20/4 or 18/6 lighting, a good digital timer is what 15$ worth a try to see if changing the lighting will prevent it from doing this. afterall the plant cant photosynthsise in the light darkness is need for this.
outside of that dont have anything else try the above suggestions or keep marchn on like a trooper
I just take a couple off each plant before putting them in flower...I think during the next round of veg plants I'm going to pick a good one and keep one as a mother and put in another room...I think next round ill try and 18/6 maybe your right about it just being sensative to all the the light in veg. I know the people i got the cut from was running 18/6..
