i wont be going to a drugfest myself, doesnt really interest me, house music, dirty girls and what else is there again? rafts made of stuff from hulk hogans ex wifes garage that they burn?

There is a Global gathering, a bunch of different communities are making huge wood and straw statue's that represent there culture.
It is a Drug filled event, but it is a ART festival first and foremost.

culture? you go to a garage sale at linda hogans house, stock up and then go to a party in the desert n set it on fire amongst a bunch of dehydrated peeps ripped on mdma an the thats culture?

Though I'll admit, I used to go to raves when I was younger. peace love unity and all that junk. As you get older you realize its just an excuse for people to take molly (I abstained but 80% of the people there were rolling balls).
on that note...anyone else feel like in the last two years music festivals have become severely corporatized? when I used to go to raves, it was word of mouth and no cover charge...people that went honestly loved the music, and there was no big neon sign outside that said 'RAVE'. Now its a bunch of confused teenagers who like electro because the next guy likes electro. all the personality has washed away from these music festivals IMO. Woodstock and the likes are dead.

techno electronic music is fake anyways, if i want to cardio dance to the worst music for 4 hours while liinda hogans garge sale goods burn in the background im probally gonna need mdma, pills, booze, its almost a toss up, vacation in ohio or burning man .

always wanted to go, but it is a long and pricey trip from europe..
just to spend your time camped out on a hard pack desert floor paying ripoff prices for bottled water in the 106F/41C heat, and that's just the fun part.......
j/k, I'm sure it's a blast & I'd like to go sometime myself.
My idea of a vacation involves mountains and snow, this is pretty much the exact opposite.
